In an industry that often faces negativity, it's crucial to remember the opportunity we have to make a positive impact. Across our 40 nursing homes, we care for around 3,500 individuals, and countless positive stories unfold, we just rarely hear about them. This week, I was inspired by a story from one of our Montana facilities. Alfred, a resident who had initially planned a short stay, found himself needing long-term care. Despite his circumstances, he longed to go hunting. Our incredible team rallied around him, creating an unforgettable experience for he and his family. With his permission I am sharing this and the picture below. This story serves as a powerful reminder of our core mission at Eduro: to provide unwavering care and support to those in need. Sometimes the one in need is not necessarily the patient...but in this case it was and the team rose to the occasion. It's easy for these moments to get lost in the hustle and bustle of our daily work, but they are the heart of what we do. Wonderul job Shyanne and the entire team at Southwest Montana Veterans Home! I'm always amazed at how people follow their passion, no matter the circumstances.
I have been in LTC for over 3 decades now and I absolutely love to see the difference we make highlighted for the rest of the world to see. Our LTC community are professionals and are very creative. Thank you for sharing and celebrating this.
OK, that has to be one of the coolest uses of a mobility van I've ever seen!!
This is amazing! Such a special memory for him and his family.
I am so proud of this team for making a difference in not only his life but in theirs as well! The best thing is that Eduro encourages these experiences!
That’s an incredible story and speaks volumes about the people that made it happen!
Now THIS is cool
Inspiring Michael. Great leadership and the exact type of culture we want to be a part of to help impact.

2wYou are so right! As an OT in one of the 40, it’s easy to get lost in the “what needs to be better”, because we can and should ALL ALWAYS strive to be better and it most definitely will never be enough for what our residents deserve or need. But it’s people like this gentleman who trust us with their welfare and quality of life, that matter most! And when amazing teams pull together and the puzzle pieces all seem to fit into place, beautiful stories like this one come along, define our mission and our purpose and somehow reenergize each of us, from bottom to top, to keep pursuing excellence! Great work Southwest Montana Veterans Home! You were made for this!
