Look Before You Donate! It's that magical time of year when you may be thinking about making a few financial donations to help your community.... Don't forget two things: (1) Before you donate, make good decisions about the financial quality of the organization. You can quickly and easily look them up on GuideStar. This will tell you how much of the money you donate actually serves their mission. Or more importantly, how much it does not. https://lnkd.in/gvWcJjeM (2) Chose wisely. There are thousands of great local organizations. Look them up! Look for this seal before you give.

Human Trafficking is a complex global issue with an organized network that is based on the exploitation of vulnerable communities. While it is challenging to break it, it is more effective to prevent it. How do we do that? By providing support to underserved communities, removing barriers to work and access, and enabling access to opportunities for financial independence and skill development.
