Furious performance - the Dauer 962 LM! Dauer Sportswagen (formerly Dauer Racing) built 2 racing chassis's, which were GT002 & GT003 that were used in competition. However, a third chassis was made available to use at Le Mans if needed, GT001. The car pictured. Though it never raced, it was actually the prototype for the race cars, built from Porsche 962 chassis 962-169. The Dauer 962 LM is powered by a 3.0L Twin Turbo Flat-6 making 720hp. That power is then routed to the wheels via a 5-Speed manual transmission. Weight came in at 2300lbs (1080kg). This was good for a 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and an independently measured 251.4mph in 1998. In 1994, the Dauer 962 LM was able to pull off a win at Le Mans. Up to this point, the Porsche 962 was starting dwindle in competitiveness. With so many changes happening so fast in Group C, the old boys just didn't have the pep to keep up. However, in 1993 the Automobile Club de l'Ouest or ACO accidentally created a loophole in their new homologation requirements. They didn't specify how many road-going examples were needed to race. Given the fact Dauer had already converted a road version of the Porsche 962, Porsche found a way to get back into competition with this updated Dauer 962. Dauer showed up to Le Mans with Porsche in support the following year and outlasted the field to win Le Mans. In total, 14 examples were built between the race cars, the converted road cars and the prototype. #dauer #962lm #supercar #lemans #performance #speed #germany 🇩🇪 #Anis_Maaouia

The Ford GT Mk IV super sports car was able to break the lap record at the Circuit of the Americas after crossing the track in 1:58.77 seconds, making it the fastest so far at this track, which is located in Austin, the capital of the US state of Texas. To put this in perspective, the Aston Martin Vantage AMR LM GTE race car was able to cover the same distance on the track in 2:02.522 seconds, but the round that the Ford GT Mk IV did when it achieved this record is unofficial because it happened during qualifying and not Race . We must note that the Mk IV version of the Ford GT is not road legal, but it is a car intended for customers and not a full-fledged racing car. Photos were taken with a drone to document this amazing achievement. This American sports car is mechanically based on a 3.5-liter twin-turbo Ford V6 engine with a power of 800 horsepower, which makes it drive enthusiastically. But it's not just about driving speed on a straight line. The extended wheelbase, Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve race suspension, racing gear, and carbon fiber body make it a dynamic track-only machine. This sports car also abandoned the 7-speed automatic transmission, as Ford replaced it with a custom six-speed Xtrac racing transmission, and uses the E-clutch transmission system. The price of the Ford GT Mk IV is $1.7 million, and only 67 copies will be made. #Anis_Maaouia

Need Auto Leads? Text CBT to 21002 \ 406-Powered 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Race Car: This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette is said to have been first converted to a race car circa 1966 after it was stolen shortly after its initial sale and stripped of its powertrain. The car would be campaigned in various SCCA and SVRA events over the next four decades before it was acquired by the seller in 2006. Following nearly two decades of continued participation in HSR and SVRA events, the car was fitted with a 406ci V8 in 2024 that was built by Nyes Racing Engines of Muncie, Indiana, and is backed by a Spec-25 four-speed manual transmission and a Duntov Motors-sourced differential. Finished in black with a red-striped stinger hood, the car is equipped with a roll bar, Racetech seats for the driver and passenger, an OMP steering wheel, a Long shifter, a fire suppression system, and Longacre SMi instrumentation. The car rides on American Racing wheels and has Bilstein shocks, a heavy-duty driveshaft, and vented steel rotors. This C2 race car is now offered with spare parts, racing log books, and a clean Florida title in the seller's name. http://dlvr.it/TFtfGX For Leads Visit: CarsBuyText.com #carsforsale #carsbuytext #autoleads

1967 Ford GT40 MK IV❤💪 Read the story ⬇ The fourth of only seven continuation Mk IV GT40s A faithful recreation of one of the most important American cars ever built, with assistance from Carroll Shelby, Dan Gurney, Phil Remington, and Edsel Ford II 500 bhp, 427 cu. in. V-8 engine with dual four-barrel Holley carburetors, model T-44 four-speed manual transaxle, front and rear independent suspension with coil springs and shock absorbers, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. Wheelbase: 95 in. Perhaps the most significant post-war American race car ever produced was Ford’s Mk IV GT40, and it is nothing short of a racing legend. It was the ultimate development of the GT40 platform, and it took the fight straight to Ferrari, dominating a field that included the Ferrari 330 PF and the Chaparral 2F, as well as its predecessors, the GT40 Mk I and Mk IIB. As history would reveal, the Mk IV would only be campaigned in two races, at the 1967 12 Hours of Sebring, where Mario Andretti and Bruce McLaren piloted a Mk IV to victory, and at the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans, where Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt outperformed all to the checkered flag and won the Index of Performance for the most efficient car. That victory is the only all-American outright win of an American-built chassis, engine, team, and drivers at the fabled Le Mans 24-hour endurance race. Due to the Mk IV’s unparalleled performance, the FIA quickly relegated the Mk IV to racing extinction by outlawing any prototype car that had larger than three-liter motors. As only 12 original chassis were built, with 10 surviving, the existing original Mk IV GT40s are prized possessions of their caretakers. They seldom change hands and are rarely seen or heard in action. Such is the case with the most desirable cars in the world, as there are not enough original examples available for purchase by enthusiasts. #fordgt40 #musclecar #american #cars #Anis_Maaouia

The Aston Martin Valkyrie just flexed its muscles at Silverstone, smashing the production car lap record by more than 10 seconds with a blazing time of 1:56.42. That makes it the first production car to complete the 3.661-mile circuit in under two minutes—fitting for a hypercar developed with Red Bull Racing tech and packing a 1,160-hp hybrid powertrain. Piloted by Le Mans legend Darren Turner, the $3 million Valkyrie outpaced the previous record holder, a tuned Porsche 911 GT2 RS, by a massive margin. Sure, it’s still a half-minute behind Max Verstappen’s F1 lap, but for a street-legal car, it’s basically lapping the competition. #robbreport #luxury #astonmartin #automotive #cars
