How user segmentation can transform app notifications 📱👥 Organisations with diverse user bases need to rethink how they approach app notifications. Users’ behaviours, preferences, and journeys demand tailored messaging, and let’s be real: a simple first-name doesn’t cut it anymore. I’m excited to share my latest project on analyzing mobile device usage data! 📱 With 700 user samples, this dataset offers a wealth of insights into user behavior, and I set out to uncover patterns that could drive impactful changes for device manufacturers, app developers, telecom providers, and marketers alike. 🔍 Key Project Highlights: Objective: Classify user behavior into five distinct categories, based on metrics like app usage time, screen-on time, battery drain, and data consumption. Techniques Used: Data Preprocessing: Cleaned and normalized features to ensure quality results. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Visualized relationships and trends, highlighting influential features like app usage time and screen-on time. 🎯 Key Insights: User Segmentation: Identified five behavior classes, helping to tailor experiences for various user types. Influential Features: App usage, battery drain, and screen-on time were found to be key in distinguishing user behaviors. Demographic Variations: Notable patterns emerged across age and gender, providing valuable direction for targeted marketing. 🌟 Why It Matters: Understanding mobile usage behavior is essential in today’s world where personalized experiences are key.
