Witney Oxford Transport Group has a strategic vision to provide a new, frequent and sustainable rail connection between the west of the county and Oxford, and is currently campaigning for the further development and delivery of the project. ▶️ This latest video from Witney Oxford Transport and Charlie Maynard sets out further the strategic vision. https://lnkd.in/ezXHgh8z 🛤️ We look forward to continuing to work with the Witney Oxford Transport Group and Oxfordshire County Council to secure landowner contributions through Land Value Capture as an important source of funding for the project.

Yesterday, Lizzie Shupak and I talked at the third installation of The Steps Collective. Lizzie reflected on how we orientate ourselves, practically and psychologically, through our respective regenerative practices. I explored a some of the emerging thoughts I've been exploring this year on how Participatory Futures might be 'The Punk to Foresight's Prog', and how that chimes with some of the things we tried last week at Future Days, and where these things might be further improved for future things like this. In the aftermath too, we started hatching some awesome plans about future editions of The Steps Collective - sign up here to follow along: https://lnkd.in/eNJQGYGh #regenerative #regenerativefutures #participativefutures #futures https://lnkd.in/e4YzQtRc

One of the best parts of economic development work is seeing how various industries, organizations, and partners—who may seem quite different—can actually support each other to create lasting frameworks for growth. Check out how Tulsa Innovation Labs and Tulsa Ports connected to see where they can support each other in their work and have a little fun along the way, too!
Yesterday, the Tulsa Innovation Labs team took a field trip to Tulsa Ports to learn more about the Nation's most inland, ice-free port that sits right here in #Tulsa! I am passionate about what our region uniquely offers advanced industries, and while many people may not consider an industrial partner such Tulsa Ports central to a tech-led economic development strategy, advanced manufacturing and industrial users will be to critical to completing our vision for a globally competitive tech hub in the heartland. It was so fun showing the team how our #BBBRC projects and coalition members are working towards shared goals. Thank you Andrew Ralston, Brian Bigbie, and Sheila Shook for the barge ride and taking the time to show us around and sharing your vision for the future! Onward! #partnership #tulsaregion #economicdevelopment #boatday
