👉Reflections from the week: What I (Re)Learned Last Week. "What got you here won't get you there." In today's world, expertise alone isn't enough. Leadership demands more than just technical proficiency; it requires adept interpersonal and communication skills. To navigate complex challenges of the workplace and foster collaboration with your team and members, leaders must prioritize relationship-building and effective communication strategies. 👉It's incredibly important for a leader to step out of their office frequently to connect with team members and members alike. Being behind a closed door can breed a perception of aloofness, inaccessible and unavailable for interaction. Engaging directly cultivates trust, approachability, and a deeper understanding of the needs and dynamics within the team and community. I have found the more I interact with my team and the members of the facility, the more I learn what the organization needs to continue to serve the community. 👉I would love to know: How do you cultivate a more engaged and collaborative workplace? #leadershiplessons #cultivatingtrust #traininganddevelopment

The power of internal networks We often hear about the importance of external networking, but what about the power of a company's internal networks? Building relationships between departments is just as important to the health and growth of a company as external connections. Why focus on internal networks? Cross-functional collaboration improves problem solving and brings new perspectives. This is very important if we want to have more opinions or insights on something specific. Creating a culture of knowledge sharing helps employees grow professionally and fosters innovation at all levels. It's a simple but powerful way to drive engagement and move the company forward. #Networking #Collaboration #Functional #CompanyCulture #Leadership #EmployeeEngagement #Teamwork #Innovation #Perspective
