Honoring Veterans: A Legacy of Leadership and Passion Today, on Veterans Day, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all my fellow veterans. Your hard work, resilience, and dedication are an inspiration not only to those who served alongside you but to all who have the privilege of working with you now. Military service is more than a job; it’s an intense education in leadership. It means putting in long hours, often sacrificing holidays, and pushing through with a drive to succeed no matter the obstacles. These experiences build a unique kind of commitment and perspective that enrich every team we join. Veterans bring skills like discipline, adaptability, and a mission-focused mindset—qualities that translate into powerful leadership in any role. Thank you to all veterans for your service, your sacrifices, and the unwavering example you set every day. Let's continue to bring these values into our workplaces, helping to lead, inspire, and achieve together. #VeteransDay #Leadership #PassionInWork #ThankYouVeterans #MilitaryExperience #VeteranStrengths #PurposeDriven

Day one of a SkillBridge program can bring new challenges, such as what to wear, how much time to dedicate, and how to present oneself to co-workers or new acquaintances. For veterans, this can be particularly daunting. As a proven leader, translating military experience to the civilian workforce can be a challenge, but it is one that can be met and exceeded. The question of whether to work for someone else or start one's own business is also a common consideration. What challenges have you faced in transitioning from military to civilian work? #veterans #civilianworkforce #leadership #entrepreneurship

At only 24 years old, Adam Ramos led 183 soldiers in combat as a Company Executive Officer and Engineer in the US Army. That statement alone underscores the unique value of combat veterans. Leadership is ingrained in us - how we think, feel, act. It’s part of why we served. It’s part of who we are after service. A fellow United States Military Academy at West Point grad and a part of the Class of 2008, Adam Ramos is now a leader in the Utility Engineering and Construction industry. I had the great opportunity to chat with Adam this week. We discussed our shared passion for leadership and culture building. Some takeaways: ↳ Many parallels between field personnel challenges across industries ↳ Building culture takes dedicated effort from the “home office” ↳ Becoming a great teammate is fundamental to leading ↳ When 1 of us wins, we all win I absolutely love talking with fellow veterans and West Point grads! With the West Point Class of 2004 20th Reunion coming up soon, I am so proud of this military network. Not yet connected with Adam Ramos? Send him an invite now - he’s someone to know. -------------------------------------- 🚀 Need some help tapping into your leadership potential?
