🙄 Another closed ecosystem approach designed to "unify' -- reminds me of the "there are too many types of USB cable, so we will create our own cable that everyone will need to buy!" What a strange approach in this day and age. Integration trumps reinvention and we appear to have just another start up with $$$ reinventing the wheel. There are a bunch of wheels out there, work to integrate! Why would they make this move? Agencies already have digital evidence solutions -- most data and voice ends up on Axon with their evidence.com system but there are others that are great. Why use this proprietary one? Separately, the right #DFR solution may differ for your use case but there are great options like Aerodome (not sponsored, no professional relationship with them, no compensation or anything). Diversify your fleet, especially at this stage of the industry and especially avoid a company that requires you to buy into a long term software subscription and where hardware ownership is in question (there are a couple out there!). Focus on manufacturers working to build systems that work together in a complex of systems that can integrate with others -- something that will work to make the public safety apparatus stronger overall as we move further into this sphere of technology. #dronesforgood #innovationnotlegislation #publicsafety #droneasfirstresponder #evidence #cjis
