I feel the same way that Jennifer Pasquale does describing the Restorative™, that this is not the most intuitive theme and harder to understand what it is about.
Even so, my curiosity is piqued because #Restorative is my stepson's #1 and my #10 theme.
Here are the gems from Brandon and Jennifer's conversation:
🗯 The value in Restorative is seeing the pieces of the problem but also provide the solution. Not just fixing, but wanting to understand the root cause so it can be prevented in the future.
🗯 As someone with high Restorative, I need the opportunity to say the quiet part out loud, have the room to consider what else could be the source of the issue, that might feel left-field but incredibly effective if given the time to walk it out for the team.
🗯 For those high in Restorative, they can be very measured in the midst of crisis, the problem comes into focus and they begin to assess and address and solve what is going on.
🗯 This theme can struggle with negativity... because they can see the second order impact that others don't, and think of it as pragmatic to bring it up, but others don't see it that way.
(this part resonates with me the most)
