🥚 Transforming Kitchen Waste into Garden Gold: Eggshell Fertilizer Tips 🌱 🥚 Eggshells, often discarded as waste, can be repurposed into valuable fertilizer for plants. This organic material enhances the overall health of plants by supplying them with essential calcium and minerals. 👉 Effectiveness: Eggshells provide essential macronutrients for plants, including calcium carbonate. Besides calcium, eggshells contain iron, copper, manganese, zinc, fluorine, chromium, and molybdenum. Insufficient calcium can hinder the development of flowers, stems, and roots, leading to stunted growth and black spots on leaves. 👉 Method: 1. After being used in cooking, eggshells should be gathered, cleaned with fresh water, and left to dry in the air. 2. Following this, the eggshell needs to be crushed. 3. Grind the eggshells into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle. 4. For prolonged preservation, keep eggshell powder in an airtight container. 👉 Application guidelines: * From the seedling stage, mix three to four tablespoons of eggshell powder with one liter of water, then apply it to the soil. * Dried eggshell powder can also be applied directly to the soil. * Apply eggshell fertilizer every few weeks or as needed. * In case of application in liquid form, the fertilizer should be applied in the afternoon. #EggshellFertilizer #DIYFertilizer #OrganicGardening #EcoFriendlyFertilizer #NaturalFertilizer #GardenHacks #GreenLiving #GardeningTips #HomemadeFertilizer

By following these tips, you can cultivate a thriving tulsi plant at home! 1. Provide Plenty of Sunlight Location: Place your tulsi plant where it receives at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. A south-facing window or a sunny balcony is ideal. 2. Use Well-Draining Soil Soil Mix: Choose a potting mix that drains well. A blend of potting soil, compost, and perlite works well to prevent root rot. 3. Water Properly Moisture Management: Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging. 4. Prune Regularly Encourage Growth: Pinch off the tips of the stems and remove any flowers that form to promote bushier growth. 5. Fertilize Sparingly Nutrient Boost: Use a balanced, organic fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season, but avoid over-fertilizing to keep the plant healthy. #bombaygreens #tulsi #holybasil #tulsitips #tulsiplantcare #plantcaretips
