Two things every business story must have…… (That you likely aren’t showcasing 👇🏼) ->>>>> The need to survive ->>>>> The need to thrive If your audience can’t understand either of those from the stories you tell and the way you market yourself, you’ll always have a hard time converting from your copy. Why? Because your audience need to see themselves reflected in what you’re saying. They need to know, that with you, they are either going to solve a problem or excel in an area. It doesn’t matter whether that’s ❗️ Financial gain / Increased business ❗️ More followers ❗️ Better energy or fitness ❗️ Healthier relationships ❗️ Momentary pleasure ❗️ Community gain / Impact And so on. Anything that takes your potential clients away from pain and further into pleasure is going to connect with them. And ultimately land them in your world ready and wanting to buy from you. Stories matter…..How you tell them matters even more 👏🏼 If you want to scale your social media and learn how to captivate and move your audience with powerful storytelling and content that converts…… 👉🏼 Follow me Laura Amy and and let’s chat more about your messaging and communication strategy! Just hit send on the latest @storythings Attention Matters newsletter, talking about the secret power of content formats: "An interruptive ad campaign that we didn’t ask for is an attention problem, and is likely to get swiped or skipped. A returning format is an attention choice - something we’ve decided to commit to, by subscribing or following. This is the power of a good format - you are no longer a problem for your target audience, but a choice." https://lnkd.in/g9r6BxU7

I see professionals like doctors or lawyers use complicated terminology that might be normal to them but difficult for the average person. What should happen is that you dial that complexity down so more people can understand your message. Your goal is always to simplify your message. Whenever you make content, whether it’s a post, video, or blog, your goal should always be to simplify your message. If your target audience struggles to understand what you’re saying, you’re missing the mark. Simplify, and make sure your message lands.

Being intentional with my audience... That’s where the impact happens. Here’s how I stay intentional with my audience: Know who you’re speaking to → Get clear on their needs, struggles, and desires. Craft meaningful content → Speak directly to their experiences, offering value and solutions that matter to them. Engage with purpose → Don’t just post and disappear. Have conversations, ask questions, and genuinely connect. If you’re not doing this, it’s easy to feel like your message is lost in the noise → And that’s 100% okay as you refine your approach. I hope this reminds you that it’s not about quantity—it’s about quality. ❤️ P.S. Who’s your audience? Share below how you’re being intentional with them!

Your story isn’t for everyone……So stop trying to make it It doesn’t matter whether you’re selling a specific service or a universal product, not everyone is going to A. Need it or B. Relate to the story behind it Meaning, someone could be selling the exact same thing, and people will buy from them rather than you, or visa versa. Your message needs to be clear and specific to the problem you solve……That way, the person you solve it for will see you through the crowd and your content will cut through the noise. Easiest way to do that? SHARE YOUR STORY 📚 The moment you connect to the RIGHT audience with things that actually relate to them, their buying decisions become easy 👏🏼 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 If you want to scale your social media and learn how to captivate and move your audience with powerful storytelling and content that converts…… 👉🏼 Follow me Laura Amy 👈🏼 and let’s chat more about your messaging and communication strategy! This is an amazing example of PERCEPTION MANAGEMENT!! if you don’t know Laura Amy … you should get to know her. Her content is always interesting and IMHO, almost always spot on! I have been telling everyone that what we perceive is what we believe for years. And different people will perceive things differently…even if it is the same story, same product, or same service. Not everything resonates the same. But you can modify perceptions! If you want help to learn how to do that effectively, just DM me!

Your content feels good to post, but it’s not converting. Why? You’re not activating your audience emotionally or calling them to act. Here's how to: 1️⃣ Call out their pain. 2️⃣ Paint a new reality. 3️⃣ Use activating language. 4️⃣ Handle objections. 5️⃣ Position your offer.

Wondering why your audience isn’t growing? 📉 Chances are, you’re not giving enough value. Want people to stick around, trust you, and share your content? Try this: ➡️ Share those pro tips you usually reserve for clients ➡️ Offer advice you wish you’d known earlier ➡️ Give a peek behind the scenes, not just the highlight reel Show up with value so people can’t help but notice you. When you give freely, they come back for more. P.S. Are you giving enough value to make an impact? #ValueFirst #ContentStrategy"
