Nuclear energy as a share of global power generation is destined to grow as it is one of the few sources that can deliver the scale of energy required to power our coming future. Cameco Corporation is one of the best ways to play the Nuclear fission theme. An underreported part of the Cameco investment thesis is that in addition to being one of the largest producers of uranium, they also own 49% of Westinghouse Electric Company, who develop both large reactors and SMRs. The other 51% is owned by Brookfield Renewable, another strong play in the carbon-free energy space. This means Cameco is a great way to invest in the growth of both uranium AND nuclear fission reactors. $CCJ $BEP
