#vino #mercati #internazionali #blockchain #NFT

This week, we were thrilled to have met and heard from some of the most influential leaders shaping the beverage industry at Imbibe Live 2024. Here are our top three key takeaways on what’s driving the UK off-trade: 1. The Low-and-no category is a ‘red herring’: Despite the rise of the alcohol-free and low-alcohol space, consumers will continue to struggle with the high price point of these options. 2. Classic and emerging: Champagne and tequila remain the drinks of the moment for 2024, and consumers are willing to pay for quality over quantity. 3. The Rosé category is saturated: The rosé category remains strong, but with the influx of lower-priced brands (and the lack of sunshine this summer in the UK), the market is becoming saturated. Exciting to see where the industry is heading! #ImBibe2024 #BeverageIndustry #KeyTakeaways

Cruffins as big as people’s heads!!! IFE, ExCeL London It was good to see a few of our customers last week at this great food industry event. This event is getting bigger and bigger each year. Cruffins as big as people’s heads, whatever a cruffin is, unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to taste a one of these, but they looked amazing. There was some really nice food on display and to sample, which both me and Ryan did throughout the days that we attended. In the middle of the hall, which did break up the different industries, was a huge pub event, with beers and spirits as well as other services for pub industry. Which I can’t remember from last year, and that is not because I was too drunk, but it was good to meet some of these small (and large) breweries as we do now export and import alcohol. The event must have been over subscribed as there where a few industries out of sync, a burger seller in the machinery department and one of our ice cream customers in the advice part of the exhibition, but I guess as things get more popular there will be a few discrepancies. Overall, a great turnout, we initially went to visit and support our customers and it was really nice to speak to people in person. One of our customers said, everything we have on this stall was imported by NETS, we even provided the vehicle to take all of there goods to the event. Sometimes, and I know it shouldn’t, but you don’t realise how much you do help businesses achieve their goals, just by providing the best service you can give, and it was nice to get that amazing feedback. When you are in the office and on the telephone, it is hard to get the intensity of the appreciation that some people have for what you do, and it is quite overwhelming when people rave about you. Our whole team worked so hard to help some of the exhibitors. We are looking forward to next years event and helping even more customers, especially with our new temperature controlled European groupage service. #ife #foodindustry

#marketingexport #madeintalynelmondo #summerfancyfood #italianfoodmarketing

The Wendy's Company plans to close 140 underperforming locations in 2025. Despite this, Wendy's reported same-store sales growth of 2.8% globally in the third quarter, with increases of 2.2% in the United States and an impressive 7.8% internationally. Kirk Tanner CEO Wendy's said "focus on building customer love by – Fresh Famous Food, Made Right". In comparison, the Dallas-based parent company of Chili's and Maggiano's Little Italy reported same-store sales growth of 13% systemwide, with Chili’s seeing a remarkable 14.1% increase. Key Takeaways and Insights on Brand Performance in the Last Quarter: - Strategic Menu Focus: Wendy's has taken strategic steps to address labor cost increases and declining customer counts by enhancing its higher-value menu offerings, leading to a larger average check size. Similarly, Chili’s noted that nearly half of its customers are choosing the premium "3 for Me" meal, demonstrating that menu simplification combined with premium options has been effective for both brands. - Profitability Challenges: Wendy's profitability was impacted by rising advertising and depreciation expenses. However, this was partially offset by growth in franchise royalty revenue and increased franchise net rental income. - Cost Management Success: Wendy's successfully reduced cloud computing expenses and overall capital expenditure, contributing to improved cash flow. read here- https://lnkd.in/gCVSzpSK While Wendy’s is focusing on cost management, Chili’s has made strategic investments in equipment like TurboChef Technologies, Inc.. Their ovens outperform conventional options, as Kevin Hochman noted, “The TurboChefs are much faster, and they make a much more consistent product.” read here - https://lnkd.in/gjyHC3DS At TechRyde, we believe that investing in the right tools, equipment, and latest innovative technology—especially artificial intelligence—can significantly help brands offset operational costs, labor challenges and rising costs while driving encouraging sales growth. We have observed brands like Pizza Hut Australia achieving positive same-store sales growth for 56 consecutive months by investing in the right technology and integrations. TechRyde has been instrumental in helping brands achieve similar success since 2016. Our focus on providing innovative solutions empowers businesses to navigate challenges and reduce operational friction points and need not to worry about reducing capital expenditures. #restaurant #AI #innovation https://lnkd.in/gkTQvRYQ
