Photogrammetry has advanced to the point where its results are indistinguishable from 3D models done in usual way modelling by hand, offering unparalleled realism and detail. In this scene, bread, kitchen mop and all the fruit with the exception of pineapple was done with mobile scanning using RealityScan app, while pineapple and the basket were photographed with full frame camera and later processed in RealityCapture desktop app to achieve even greater precision of 3D model and color accuracy. Models were cleaned up in Blender and exported into the Unreal Engine 5 for the final realistic render. #photogrammetry #realitycapture #3dscanning #UnrealEngine5 #technology #innovation

💧 Testing Fluid Simulations in Blender: Resolution Matters! 🖥️ I’ve been experimenting with fluid simulations in Blender, testing how different resolutions (50, 200, and 300) affect the results. 🌊 It’s fascinating to see how resolution changes impact the realism and detail of the water flow. This test has helped me understand the balance between performance and quality when working on fluid dynamics. I’ll be sharing a post soon with a side-by-side comparison of these simulations. Stay tuned! 🎥 #Blender3D #FluidSimulation #3DArt #DigitalArt #CreativeProcess #AnimationTesting

Imagine you want to create a 3D object, like a toy or a character for a video game. Creating 3D objects has become really good with advanced technology, but sometimes it's hard to get exactly what you want. This happens because the tools we use don't always let us control the process very precisely. Now, there are two main ways people try to make 3D objects. One way is by giving instructions in words, but this often doesn't give enough control. The other way is by starting from a 2D picture and trying to turn it into a 3D object. But this can have problems too because it's hard to make changes directly in 3D. So, The researchers came up with something called Interactive3D. It's a new system that lets us have much more control when making 3D objects. They made it in two main steps. First, they use something called Gaussian Splatting, which lets us directly interact with the 3D object as it's being made. We can do things like adding or removing parts, moving things around, changing shapes, and even making big changes to the structure. This means we can guide the process exactly how we want. Then, they use another method called InstantNGP to refine the details and make the object look even better. They also added a special step called Interactive Hash Refinement to add more details and make the object more realistic.

I recently completed a simulation exercise in Blender. It was a lot of fun figuring out how to create and simulate these assets. Although it was frustrating at times to understand every parameter needed to recreate the paper texture, I think the final result turned out pretty well! What do you think? #Blender3D #3DModeling #Simulation #3DAnimation #DigitalArt #CGI #3DDesign #CreativeProcess #PaperTexture #3DRendering
