🔑 5 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 : Building strong client relationships is about more than just closing deals. Here’s how to create partnerships that last: 👉 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬: Focus on solving real problems, not just landing the next project. Clients want partners, not just service providers. 👉 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐭: Not every client will align with your strengths, and that’s okay. The right ones will value what you bring to the table. 👉 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Long-term collaborations drive growth and innovation for both sides. Think big picture. 👉 𝐁𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞: When you’re confident in the value your services bring, you stop needing to chase approval. Clients who see your worth will stick with you. 👉 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭: Forget short-term results. Focus on implementing solutions that bring sustainable, scalable success for your clients. #ClientSuccess #BusinessGrowth #Partnerships #ValueDriven Codewave

Company values should be more than words on a webpage or slide deck. When done right, they can create a framework for making high-quality decisions. Consider an example of a software company that sells through the channel. By choosing partners based on how closely their behaviors align with the company's values, they ensure that their partnerships are meaningful and aligned. If there's poor alignment, then a partnership should be decided against. This is just one example of how a company's values can be operationalized. #companyvalues #businessstrategy #partnerships

🚀 Feeling Stuck in a Software Contract? Here’s a Better Way Out! 💻✨ Ever found yourself tangled in a consulting contract that feels like a never-ending loop of stress? 🙈 Trust me, I’ve been there! If you’re looking for a way to break free, here are some steps to help you exit that stressful situation gracefully: Reflect and Assess 🧐 Before making any moves, take a step back. Consider why you want to leave. Is it due to unrealistic expectations, a lack of alignment, or something else? Understanding your reasons will help you communicate more effectively. Check Your Contract 📜 Dig up that contract and review the termination clauses. Are there any notice periods or conditions you need to follow? Knowing your rights will empower you to proceed confidently. Prepare for the Conversation 🎤 Plan how you’ll approach your client. Draft key points you want to discuss, focusing on the positives—what you’ve accomplished and why it’s time to move on. Practice makes perfect, so rehearse with a friend or in front of a mirror! Schedule a Meeting 📅 Don’t just drop an email and run. Set up a meeting (virtual or in-person) to discuss your decision. This shows respect for your client and allows for an open dialogue. It also gives you the chance to explain your reasoning in a personable way. Leave on Good Terms 🌟 No matter how challenging the situation, aim to maintain professionalism. A respectful exit can leave the door open for future opportunities or collaborations. But what if I told you there’s a way to avoid all this stress altogether? When it comes to partnerships with our ISOs and ISVs, the thing that makes the magic happen is a phrase that you might be quick to call a cringeworthy corporate buzzword: Mutually beneficial. I know, it's easy to brush it off like all the other worn out expressions-- “out of the box” or “synergy” or “download.” 🤢 But hear me out. This is the stuff that matters most for meaningful and successful long-term partnerships. And when that kind of magic happens, it makes you remember why you showed up to this crazy world we call #payments in the first place. {Insert chef’s kiss.} 😘 😘😘 Here’s how I know I’m about to enter into an agreement that’s mutually beneficial with a potential partner: ✔ The partner has a problem and I have the solution. We are both willing to go through a thorough vetting process to determine this to be true. This is SO BASIC, but missed more often than not. ✔ I am honest with that partner about potential gaps in my solution. I never knowingly over-promise. ✔ The partner is open and honest with me about ways that they do business that might conflict with the way we do business. ✔ The partner is not shy about having difficult conversations. The more difficult the conversation, the quicker they are to have a live conversation to hammer it out. Email ping-pong never works here. ✔ Our ethical business compasses are aligned. We are both sailing for the shores where all the best do-right things happen. I crave these types of relationships because they make our work at Secure Bancard more meaningful. But the truth is, they are rare. They are worth every bit of the time and effort to find them. I'll never stop looking for them and the funny thing is, they're usually hiding in the most unlikely places. What are the key points for you in a mutually beneficial relationship? And for funsies, what’s the most cringey corporate buzzword that drives you crazy?

👉 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀? For small software service companies, getting noticed by a big company with a large budget can feel like trying to knock on a castle door with a toothpick 🏰🪥. These companies already have strong vendor relationships, so it’s tough for smaller players to break in. That’s where partnering with a larger product company comes in. By teaming up with an established player, small service companies can ride the wave 🌊 and get in front of bigger clients, working on more complex projects than they could on their own. It’s kind of like being a small boat 🚤 following a giant cruise ship 🛳️. The little boat may not control where the big ship is heading, but it catches a nice ride in the current—moving faster and smoother until it’s ready to set its own course. Here’s why this works: 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 : Partnering with a bigger name helps small businesses build trust 🤝 with clients who might otherwise overlook them. 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 : It’s easier to tag along on large projects through these partnerships than trying to tackle them solo 🚀. 𝗔 𝗪𝗶𝗻-𝗪𝗶𝗻 : Small companies bring their skills to the table, and big companies bring market access. Together, they create stronger solutions for clients (and everyone gets a piece of the pie! 🥧). For small software service companies, partnering with larger product companies can be the perfect way to grow 📈, gain visibility 👀, and take on more exciting projects. Plus, it’s way easier than knocking on that castle door again! #Partnerships #SoftwareServices #BusinessGrowth #Teamwork #TechIndustry #ScalingBusiness
