//DOES INNOVATION HAVE TO BE ROCKET SCIENCE? I am often asked, “Lars, what do you do in the Innovation Lab?” What services do you even offer there? And I always thought, well, that must be clear by now. It says really big, “Innovation in one week only”. But it must be so extraordinary that people still keep asking, "You can't launch new products in a week. It's completely impossible! Yes, it's going pretty, pretty, pretty well. We've done it again and again in different sectors, industries and more. So what we actually do is we just build what the customer can see. When we started as an engineering firm, we only concentrated on the best product and delivered highly sophisticated engineering without anyone really knowing it on the market. In the meantime, we have turned it around and are building the best-looking product, the best business model, and the hottest services that resonate with customers. Then, we go to the market in a week and test whether there are real customers for this, and only if there are real customers and the so-called product-market fit is there will we take care of the details. Only then do we let the whole thing become reality. Yes, it has completely turned around, and that's why we can bring your ideas to market within just a single week to test real buying customers. P.S. That's what we do. It's not rocket science at all. And you can learn to do it, too! ——— This is how we de-risk innovations in one week only:  https://lnkd.in/eq4TvNC4 #innovation #creativity #future #whatinspiresme #innoweek #venturestudio #companybuilder #vc All rights and credits are reserved to the respective owner(s).  Contact me to add you as a reference or content removal. ♻️ Repost to help your network to bring their ideas to market. Klar ist das klar!

This is a great breakdown of what true innovation looks like! It's all about testing ideas quickly, focusing on what customers can see and respond to. By flipping the script and prioritizing product-market fit before perfecting the details, you can bring new ideas to market in just a week. It’s not rocket science, but it is an effective way to innovate. Anyone can learn this approach and apply it to their own business! Curious—what’s been your biggest win from rapid testing?

It's like with many things – people tend to overcomplicate them or do not see the value if they don't seem complex enough. Whether it’s strategy, innovation, or whatever. At its core, strategy is simply having a plan to solve a problem, and innovation is "just" knowing what you have to test to reduce the risk. It's about testing if an idea can work – feasible, doable and desirable.

"Not Rocket Science" serves as such a stalwart stealth negated metaphor we rarely ponder extensions. Should we consider "mineral science," or "biological science," or "cognitive science," or "AI," or "gravitational wave science" the next time we're tempted to negate the science of Canaveral boosters? It wouldn't be mitochondrial science to give it a try. #metaphorsandbeyond

As someone working in Tech myself, I'm inspired by your determination and ability beyond just engineering excellence – creating business models that resonate effectively should truly be our aim too.

Innovation doesn’t have to be complicated, and it’s exciting to see how quickly ideas can come to life. 🚀

It's refreshing to see companies prioritizing customer response before fully developing products. The old way of doing things doesn't always work well in today's fast-paced world.

It's good to realize innovation doesn't have to be groundbreaking or complex from the get-go - just needs to get off ground successfully.
