In the #Aerospace and #Defence industry we love a growing market! 🚁 The use of more and more #helicopters, particularly in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region will drive more demand for Helicopter MRO services. By 2028, the #Helicopter #MRO market will reach USD 14-16 billion as the increasing use of helicopters in various industries such as #defence, emergency medical services and oil and gas exploration in addition to the aging helicopter fleet and the need for regular maintenance and upgrades will contribute to the expansion of this #market. To me, it seems that the big players like Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin Sikorsky, Boeing services, Honeywell, SAFRAN HELICOPTER ENGINES USA, INC. and Rolls-Royce are positioned to capitalize heavily on this trend. Others as part of the supply chain will have significant opportunities too 🎯 #Aviation #HelicopterMRO #MarketGrowth #Aerospace #AsiaPacific #MiddleEast #Defense #AviationMaintenance #IndustryLeaders #AerospaceIndustry Reference: https://lnkd.in/gajdGXhv

F-35/F-15 Test Pilot Tucker Hamilton (cincohamilton) provides insightful commentary on a unique F-35 test procedure: "This system was never meant to be employed airborne. However, to create loads required to test system fully, our teams had to employ the drag chute airborne."The drag chute system, designed specifically for F-35A variants operated by Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Belgium, is primarily intended for use during landing on short, icy runways. Normally, the pilot activates the system after touchdown by flipping a switch on the instrument panel, which deploys a Kevlar parachute from a pod housed between the vertical stabilizers. This airborne deployment, captured by Lockheed Martin's aerial photo team, represents an extraordinary test scenario. By deploying the chute in flight, engineers could subject the system to more extreme forces than those experienced during a typical landing, ensuring its reliability under various conditions. The image not only showcases the F-35's adaptability to extreme environments but also highlights the rigorous testing procedures employed in developing and refining aircraft systems. This unconventional test demonstrates the lengths to which aerospace engineers and test pilots go to ensure the safety and effectiveness of advanced aircraft technologies #military #defense #defence #aerospace #aviation #aircraft #aircrafts #airplane #airplanes #aviationlovers #militaryaviation #militaryaircraft #fighterjet #engineering #technology #militarytechnology #defensetechnology #defenseinnovation #defenseindustry #airforce #pilots #F35 #Norway #Denmark #Netherlan

Weekend Frolic 🎊🥳🤹♂️ How well can you identify the Airplane by its shadow? The curiosity and eagerness to want to identify any Airplane type, the operator and capacity is common among Aviators. If in doubt, usually, the checking of the Aircraft registration number through the internet can provide informations about the Aircraft. Now in case of an Aircraft’s shadow😚, how accurate can you identify Aircraft?😉 Video Credit: Paul Adeniran Location: DNMM #Aviation #aircraft #aircraftengineers #aerospace #Aviators

Initially developed in the mid-20th century for military use, these jets, including combat and multi-role aircraft, are built for high speeds ranging from 1 to 3 Mach and high-altitude flight, heavily reliant on government spending and defense procurement. The commercial dream of supersonic airliners began with the Tupolev Tu-144 and Concorde in the late 1960s but ended in 2003 due to low passenger numbers and high maintenance costs. However, interest in supersonic commercial aircraft persists, with plans for a second-generation supersonic jet aimed at completing transcontinental flights in under 6 hours. The anticipated maiden flight in 2021 and subsequent production by 2023 are expected to rejuvenate the commercial supersonic aviation market. Understanding Aircraft Roll and What Fighter Pilots Experience In aviation, the roll is one of the fundamental maneuvers that every aircraft must master. Roll refers to the rotation of an aircraft around its longitudinal axis, which runs from the nose to the tail. This axis is controlled primarily through the ailerons, which adjust the lift on each wing to allow the aircraft to tilt or "roll" left or right. For fighter pilots, executing and enduring rapid rolls at high speeds is not just about technical skill but also about immense physical endurance. The high G-forces experienced during sharp roll maneuvers can push the body to its limits, causing temporary vision impairment or even G-LOC (G-force-induced Loss of Consciousness) if not properly managed. Pilots undergo rigorous physical and mental training to withstand these forces, maintaining control and precision while experiencing forces that can exceed 9Gs. Their ability to remain sharp and decisive in these intense conditions is a testament to their elite training and extraordinary resilience. #Aviation #AircraftRoll #FighterPilots #Aerospace #FlightMechanics #pilots #fighterjet #aircraft #aeroplane #aeroplane #aerodynamic #aerospace #aeronautical #space #satellite #gforce #airforce #india #usa #france #russia

🚀 Launch at the speed of light! The F/A-18 is catapulted into the air in just 2 seconds from an aircraft carrier. This is what a launch feels like from the cockpit. Before taking off, every detail matters: from adjusting the throttle to checking control surfaces. With only 90 meters of runway, there is no margin for error. And the most impressive part... the pilot doesn’t touch the joystick until they’re in the air. A seaplane, sometimes known as an aerial refueling system, is a plane that can deliver aviation fuel from tanker planes to other military planes. These planes are known as tanker planes, and they serve a number of military purposes. The petrol is transported in two ways: probe-and-drogue and flying boom. These planes are outfitted with a range of refueling systems and pilots who are capable of completing aviation fuel transfer operations with minimal leaks. ✨A plane that can reverse without a pushback tractor? Meet the A400M 🚀 Unlike most commercial jets, which need a pushback tractor to reverse, the A400M is designed to do it on its own. Thanks to its variable-pitch propellers ⚙️, this military transport adjusts the blade angle to create reverse thrust ♨️, allowing it to move backward independently. This capability makes the A400M ideal for remote runways 🛬 and challenging missions where ground support is limited. Another example of how Airbus adapts engineering to meet real operational needs 💪. #A400M #Airbus #aviation #innovation #engineering #mobility
