Want to create BALANCE, DECREASE STRESS, and LOWER your ANXIETY this weekend? Do these 4 things... 1️⃣ Go do something you LOVE to do. Something that fuels your soul. Something that relaxes your mind and throws worry to the side lines. 2️⃣ Write down three dreams and three goals you have. Ask yourself if what you do in your spare time is really helping you reach your goals and dreams. Assess if these are even STILL your goals and dreams and decide if they have changed, what they are now. 3️⃣ Go through your home and rid everything that causes you and your family anxiety.... toxic plug in air freshneners toxic perfumes toxic cleaning products and sprays toxic hair spray products toxic room sprays toxic candles toxic laundry detergents and replace them with a healthier option. PS - When you are trying to create balance, these items do a really great job getting in the way. Not only do they have the ability to elevate anxiety levels, they also have the ability to cause headaches, nausea, and even make symptoms you already have worse, depleting your energy, focus, and ability to create balance. 4️⃣ This one is my fave! Ever have one of those days where you're just done with everything? Feelings of hopelessness, inadequacy, or fear creeping in? Recurring negative thoughts on repeat? Trust me, I've been there. Before you spiral into a pit of self-doubt, try this: commit to three full days of self-care. No big decisions or harsh self-judgments until you've done the following: 1. Fuel your body with good, nutritious food. Seriously, ditch the junk. 2. Get quality sleep. Yes, that means putting the phone away. 3. Move your body for at least 30 minutes a day, and do it outside. Fresh air does wonders. You'll be amazed at how much clearer everything looks when you're not running on empty and stuffed with toxins. You're not broken or failing most of the time—you're just tired and out of sync. So, give yourself a break. Recharge, refuel, and then see how you feel. You cannot pour from an empty cup! When you're not ok: stop, breathe, take care of yourself, pour into you, then get back to it. I promise, 'it' is not going anywhere. The tasks, the work, your goals and responsibilities will wait. They aren't going anywhere while you take a moment to recharge. Approaching challenges with a lighter spirit doesn't diminish their importance but enhances our ability to tackle them with resilience and clarity.
