👀 Hey, remember when we used to actually TALK to people? Yeah, wild times. Call me old school, but there’s something magical about taking a moment to actually sit down with someone. The kind of 1-on-1 where you look each other in the eye, shake hands, and share stories—beyond screens and likes. In my experience, these face-to-face moments are where the REAL trust is built. They’re where ideas turn into actions, and actions turn into long-term partnerships. We can automate a lot, but there’s no substitute for true relationships. Sometimes, the most effective strategy is the simplest one: Pick up the phone. Grab a coffee. Show up. Building a community is about investing in people—not just their profiles. Whether it’s a business deal, a collaboration, or simply connecting with a colleague, nothing beats going back to basics. How I'm building a highly engaging community for a client Goals: 1) Awareness 2) Reciprocation 3) Expert Positioning Combined to build a community with genuine relationships What I did: Did my research and crafted an engagement list, having the right mix between → Active community → Top Creators → Beginners Keeping in mind the goals we set together Action: → Understanding the person I'm engaging with → Starting conversations and having fun → Taking the conversation into DMs → Adding real value comments Focusing on: → Conveying the client's human side → Building community on the right values Pro tip: → Never hurry in building relationships → Keep it genuine, even if it takes more time Result: → Highly engaging community building on true values → Plus this sweet messages hehe!
