Hello LinkedIn, I've seen the question asked a lot "How do I know if a user was added to a local group?". The answer is we detect and track that kind of information in Microsoft Defender for endpoint. The solution though is multi-part and has to take into account is the account being added local, Active Directory, and/or Entra. I outlined it on my GitHub with the queries to help. http://aka.ms/MattNovitsch Search for MDE

Want a top tip for password generators? We will take a small business into the Microsoft 365 world tomorrow. But first, I need to generate some easy-to-remember passwords for the staff to log in. Yes, I know that creating ridiculous passwords is the IT trend, but I tend to find these end up written down on a Post-it under the keyboard. Once the computers are joined to Microsoft 365, they'll be able to log into any machine, communicate via teams, share files and have their desktop, documents and files backed up online! Ashley showed me this great site. (Make sure you vet the passwords first, as some of them can look a little racey.)
