If you and your team use Outlook for mobile, here’s some good news: Now you can attach emails to other emails straight from your phone. Anyone else thinking of the film Inception?! It’s a little mind-bending – but there’s a good reason for it. The new feature will make it easy to share important email threads, without having to waste time switching to your PC or using Outlook for web. Imagine you’re on the go, responding to a client or team member. You might need to reference an earlier email conversation, and this update will let you forward it directly from your iOS or Android device. It’s great for keeping email trails organized. No more forwarding long chains or having to copy and paste bits of text. Just tap, attach, and you’re all set! The feature should be available on Outlook for mobile right now. Have you tried it out yet? #Microsoft #Outlook #EmailAttachment https://lnkd.in/eBtece9s

Possible Major Impact to Microsoft Outlook Mobile Users: The Dictation feature will be retired in September 2024 for iOs and Android users. Here is Microsoft's message in part. "We will be retiring the Dictation feature from Microsoft Outlook for iOS and Android starting in early September 2024 and ending by late September 2024. In Outlook for iOS and Android, a system microphone is available to users while they are working on the app. The dictation option in the Outlook compose toolbar represented a duplication of functionality. We suggest that users use the system microphone for dictation in Outlook for iOS and Android." ➡️Did you use this mobile device feature? How many emails do you usually have open at a time? A few at most? Well, it’s been reported that when people try to open too many emails at once, Outlook is crashing or producing an error message like “Out of memory or system resources”. The number of emails you’d need to have open all at once is probably too high for most people to encounter this issue (it’s 60 emails…). But if you’re experiencing crashes, make sure you don’t have too many emails open – just stick to a few at once. And if your system is low on memory, try closing other apps. If that doesn’t help, you could also try rolling back to an older version of Outlook or, better yet, try switching to the “New Outlook” app for Windows. Either way, be cautious about any quick registry fixes you might see online. Altering the Windows registry can mess up your system if it’s not done correctly, so it's best not to do this yourself. Would you ever have 60 emails open at once? #Microsoft #Outlook #EmailIssues
