“Hey, I need to cut back my hours. I took on another project." Just talked to another founder who lost their star “gig developer”: - 5+ years of knowledge... gone - Critical projects... delayed - Customer promises... at risk The real cost of losing a key freelancer: - 2-3 months to find replacement - $20k+ in lost productivity - Missed market opportunities Here's how we're fixing this: Our freelance pros set their exact availability: - Max weekly hours - Ideal pay rate - Schedule boundaries - Instant and predictable hiring Result? - Scalable retainers running indefinitely - Happy clients AND freelancers One founder's words stuck with me: "It's not just about finding great talent. It's about keeping them." Freelancers don't usually leave for better pay. They leave because of overload. Want access to our network of committed pros who stick around? 💡 Freelancer vs Full-time Developer: Which One Fits Your Lifestyle? When I first got into development, I had a tough choice: Do I want to be a freelancer or work full-time? Both have their perks, but after experiencing both sides, I realized they cater to different needs. Here’s how they stack up: 👨💻 Full-Time Developer: 1) Steady Income → Monthly paycheck gives financial security, perfect for those who prefer stability. 2) Structured Routine → Set hours, clear job roles, and career progression paths with benefits like health insurance and retirement plans. 3) Team Collaboration → You’re part of a bigger team with colleagues to lean on and learn from. 🧑💼 Freelancer: 1) Flexibility → Choose your own hours, projects, and clients. It’s a great option if you like control over your schedule. 2) Diverse Experience → Working with various clients across industries helps you build a varied portfolio. 3) Higher Risk/Reward → No guaranteed income, but potential to earn more through multiple gigs. What’s the real takeaway? - Full-time offers stability and a clear career path. - Freelancing gives you independence and the chance to scale your earnings. It all comes down to your lifestyle preference: Do you crave security or freedom? 💬 Drop a comment: Are you Team Freelancer or Team Full-time? ♻ Share if you found this inspiring. Hey Cooperate Software Developers, this is why most clients hate you as a freelancer💔 Honestly, most corporate employees can't handle clients. They have succumbed to the convenience of being surrounded by a team and having their managers who provide the comfort of a check at the end of the month. But when you put them right in the firing line with a client? Many crumble under pressure. The jumbled unpredictable demands, the salesmanship involved in wooing themselves, and the constant problem-solving make a mess out of them. Now, consider that against freelancers—those who live by delivering to clients, no matter what. They have learned the art of communication, negotiation, and how to go the extra mile. A happy client in their book is not a success story—it's survival. No bureaucracy, no red tape—just results. The reality is harsh: corporate life often insulates employees from the raw realities of client interaction. As a freelancer, though, you're in the trenches every day fighting for your next project. So, who's really better at handling clients? The obvious answer is, but it's not going to sit well with everyone. Agree or disagree? Let's hear your thoughts. #FreelancerVsEmployee #ClientManagement #TruthHurts #FreelancingSkills #CorporateComfort #FreelanceVsCorporate #FreelancerTruths #DeveloperLife #freelancing #personalgrowth #linkedin #failure #freelancer #job #corporates #client #sales #money

When you're just starting out with freelancers, it's important to remember that many will feel that $5 per hour is too low. However, keep this in mind—when I started, I charged $5 per hour, and now I charge $55 per hour. The key is to be patient and strategic. Set your initial budget at $5, but have a long-term vision of $5,000 or more for future projects. Each time you work with a freelancer, gradually increase your budget as the relationship and trust grow. Eventually, you’ll find yourself closing projects for $10,000 or even $100,000. Remember, success in business requires perseverance and consistency. Start small, work hard, and scale up over time. As you increase your value and the quality of your partnerships, you'll see your budget—and your results—grow exponentially.
