🚀 Institute team launches new website for older drivers! As we age, maintaining road safety becomes increasingly important. While many road safety programs focus on young and novice drivers, older drivers also face unique challenges. A new website for older drivers, Ageing Well on the Road launched by the Driving Safety and Health (DASH) Team at UNSW Sydney and NeuRA (Neuroscience Research Australia) is packed with information to help older drivers throughout Australia navigate the rules and regulations of their state. This new resource, developed in collaboration with older drivers, industry and government is designed to support older drivers by offering evidence-based, reliable information and practical resources. “The goal is to make it easy for older drivers and their families and health professionals to access safety information and support services. It includes information about driving assessments, health changes and driving, new technology and driving, and navigating the decision to give up driving” says UNSW Ageing Futures Director Professor Kaarin Anstey. 👉 For older drivers wanting to know more, visit: https://lnkd.in/g2VfEG_8 #OlderDriverSafety #RoadSafety
