Who is running to sign up for more high effort, low return programs of UHC? On October 1, UHC will launch its National Gold Card program where providers that meet the program criteria will be fortunate enough to still be subjected to prior notification for services but won’t have to submit clinical information. It will be interesting to see how many providers will be eligible to be Gold Card recognized, how many choose to participate and whether it drives meaningful, long term change at UHC with prior authorization policies. #revenuecyclemanagment #healthcarefinance
