The social impact of the built environment on occupants, both in the short and long term, has long been acknowledged, yet many companies struggle to fully address it. Other taxonomy deliverables include contribution to climate mitigation, circular economy (a full Life cycle cost analysis has been undertaken) and pollution prevention. the project will achieve LEED gold S&C. Careful attention has been given to the buildings outputs and how to capture this data in a way that will easily assist with sustainability reporting such as CSRD, GHG emissions reports & GRESB. A set of Property manager sustainable ESG focused KPI's and tenant engagement strategy are being developed to align with the clients sustainability requirements. All building data, tenant engagement records, proactive maintenance records, along with sustainability reporting will be hosted on a project specific cloud platform and stored until the client decides to sell the property at a future date. This critical information will demonstrate to potential buyers who undertake their due diligence through an ESG lens, that the asset is sustainability reporting ready and performing to its design parameters with a clear road map to transition to ZEB. We think this is using the project sustainability deliverables as a value add approach and will protect the asset from potential "brown discounts" by not not meeting its climate obligations. Spear Street Capital believe doing the right thing can live along side profitability.
