Observe the world around you long enough, and you will find that the world is full of lies. From the media, to the politicians, to Hollywood, everyone is trying to sell you a version of reality that just isn’t true. So how do we deal with such deceit in the world? The answer is simple. Accept nothing less than the absolute truth. The truth is like a mirror, it will show everything that stands in the way of its reflection. Regardless of how ugly or beautiful it may be, what is shown in the mirror is a simple and honest reflection of what truly is. What matters is how we respond to that reflection. Will we reject the image it gives us, and demand that reality bend to our will? Or will we accept the truth, and live at peace with the image we see, knowing that genuine effort is the only way we will ever improve the reflection that we look into. Men don’t share! Let’s break that myth. Welcome your emotions with open hearts, it’s okay to feel too much but start with finding the root cause. I used to be that silent kid, holding everything in. But trust me, sharing with someone can change everything. Here’s why: A. Sharing stops the loneliness. B. You start feeling better, becoming a better version of yourself. C. BREATHE August 7, 2024 We all experience ups and downs. Some are ant hills while others are alp size. How do we get thru these challenging times? How do we cope with the sadness or anger? This month the Olympics are on, many will find themselves glued to the TV cheering on the athlete's, watching the opening and closing ceremonies and interviews and stories. Some will watch pre season football, yes it is that time again :). Others will find reality TV and all other things to watch. Then there are people that like to read, do art, immerse themselves in the artistic side. Making something from the feelings and emotions they have. Write a song or a book. Others will take hikes, walks, swim, or just stare at the beautiful stars twinkling in the night sky. Whatever you find yourself doing, remember to take time for yourself. Embrace the feelings, allow yourself to cry, be mad. IT IS OK. If you find that you rely on silence, sitting at home and not communicating with people. Not bathing or eating. Then you may need to talk to someone. IT IS NOT OK. I always end my sessions with "breathe" If I identify an emotion like anxiousness, we talk about what events led to the feeling and then we breathe. Breathing is our lifeline. We forget to do it under stress. We hold our breath without even knowing it. Be still and breathe your breath, is all the magic you need with it you can soothe, gather, center, remember with it you can evoke visions that will transform this world. Why do Some People Trigger You? What Causes that Trigger in You? And How to Solve it? New Video ✨🎥 Do you feel bad when someone insults you? If so, why? Do you feel bad when someone says something that triggers you? If so, why? Answer : Because there is some emotional connection between you and what they are saying. I'm not very fat and consider myself not to be. And I look handsome as well :) . However, if someone comes to me and says, "Kris, you are ugly and extremely fat." , would it hurt me? Absolutely, not. Why? Because I know that I am not very fat or ugly. And in fact I know I look great ! I know what they are saying is Not me. So I don't have an emotional connection to what they are saying. Usually a lot of emotional connections to different beliefs that may not benefit us or may not even be true, are formed like this in our childhood, where someone around us may have said it to us and we believed them and took their word as The Truth. They themselves may have not even truly meant it. But we internalised it and made it our own. And these words and beliefs still come to haunt us as triggers in our adult life. When recognized, fixed and healed, these triggers become ineffective because they don't hold that emotional connection that they did, anymore. And you can fix and heal yours too!
