🔷 Features of Pytest that can help understand the Automation Framework 🔷  ======================================================== ✴ Auto-Discovery of Tests :  ☑ Pytest has the ability to pickup tests based on the way we name them.  ☑ We name the file like this, test_abc or abc_test. Also, IDE like PyCharm identifies it as a test case file. ☑ So, we can just click and play, and run your test. ☑ Pytest automatically identifies which functions and methods are tests based on their names. test_method.  ☑ So, Unlike other frameworks, where we have to explicitly register tests manually before, that is not needed with Pytest. ✴ Simplifes Test Execution : You don't need to run the test case manually, You just run the Pytest command, it will discover all the tests. ✴ Rich Assertion Introspection : ☑ When a test fails, we get a really nice breakdown report of why the test failed. ☑ So, it becomes very easy to understand where the code went wrong. ✴ Support for Parameterized based testing : ☑ We can run the same test function multiple times with different arguments ensuring broad coverage with minimal code. ☑ We can just give a list of numbers and it will run for each one.
