With one “sleep night” left before Thanksgiving, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the power of gratitude—not just in our personal lives but in the workplace. Let’s be honest: 2024 hasn’t been easy for many. Economic uncertainty, shifting priorities, and challenges big and small have tested even the strongest nerves. Yet, as researchers repeatedly point out, gratitude is a powerful medicine for that which ails us. Gratitude isn’t just a feel-good notion; it’s grounded in neuroscience. When we express and receive gratitude, our brains release dopamine and serotonin—chemicals that promote feelings of happiness and reduce stress. Who doesn’t want that? With practice and time, we can actually rewire the brain, helping us focus on the positive vs. fixating on the negative. In the workplace, this positive bent translates to higher morale, deeper engagement, and yes, even increased productivity. When employees feel appreciated, they’re more likely to go the extra mile, collaborate, and stay committed to shared goals. Gratitude goes beyond simply saying “thank you.” It’s about creating a culture where wins – the homeruns and the base hits -- are celebrated. Actions of gratitude bond teams and help them navigate bumpy roads. Recognition of baby steps builds grit—the ability to keep moving forward together, even when the path is steep. Celebrating these little wins strengthens their connective 'glue' and makes them more durable for the challenges ahead. This Thanksgiving, take a moment to thank the teams that keep us moving forward. Celebrate the wins, the noble attempts, and the resilience to get back up after failure. Gratitude, after all, isn’t just a holiday sentiment—it’s a practice that holds teams together and propels us forward. I’m personally grateful to this LinkedIn “team” for your collective wisdom, your candor, and your help. You are excellent teachers, humorists, and connectors. Wishing you all a very Happy and meaningful Thanksgiving! #Gratitude #Leadership #Thanksgiving #TeamCulture #WorkplaceMorale

Gratitude, Growth, and Grace this Thanksgiving Season As we approach Thanksgiving, it’s a natural time to pause, reflect, and express gratitude—not just for the milestones we’ve achieved, but for the people who have walked alongside us on this journey. In today’s fast-paced, results-driven world, taking time to truly disconnect can feel like a luxury, but it’s essential for maintaining balance. This holiday, let’s prioritize what matters most: quality time with loved ones, meaningful connections, and self-care. For many, the holiday season is a time of joy and celebration, but it’s important to acknowledge that it can also be challenging. Let’s be mindful of our coworkers, employees, and friends who might be navigating personal hardships. A simple act of kindness—a thoughtful check-in, a word of encouragement, or just listening—can make a significant impact. As leaders, colleagues, and community members, we have an opportunity to foster a culture of empathy, respect, and inclusivity. Embrace teamwork, celebrate differences, and encourage flexibility. These small but intentional actions not only strengthen relationships but also drive innovation and growth in our personal and professional lives. This Thanksgiving, I challenge all of us to reflect on how we can uplift those around us, love more deeply, and appreciate the moments we’re given. Let’s remember: • Family first: Whether it’s the one we’re born into or the one we build, cherish these connections. • Gratitude daily: Success is built on the shoulders of many—never forget to say “thank you.” I’m thankful for the colleagues, mentors, and friends who inspire me, and I’m committed to paying that forward. #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Leadership #Empathy #WorkLifeBalance #GrowthMindset

Happy Thanksgiving!! 🍂 Even though I’m not from the US (bonjour from France 🇫🇷!), this holiday has always resonated with me. It’s a chance to reflect on resilience, togetherness, and gratitude—and those are universal. This year hasn’t been without its challenges—and I’m sure you’re on the same boat 🚤—but I count myself lucky to have a roof over my head, a healthy and happy family, and a job I’m excited about when I wake up in the morning, thanks to the amazing clients I work with! 🥳 So yes, I’ve realized how much I’ve had to be thankful for. 🙏🏻 Gratitude isn’t just a feel-good practice; it’s a powerful tool. It keeps us resilient, grounded, and open to possibility—even when the 💩 hits the fan. It’s also something I share with my clients as a way to focus on the glass half full 🥛. Today, I’m taking stock of what (and who!) has helped me stay afloat, and honestly, it’s making me that little bit happier just thinking about it. I’d love to invite you to join me in a little Thanksgiving reflection: 👉 What are three things you’re grateful for this year? Big or small, share them with us in the comments—or take a moment to write them down privately. If you’re feeling stuck, here are three questions to help inspire your gratitude: ✨ Who has supported or inspired you the most this year? ✨ What challenge have you overcome, and how did it help you grow? ✨ What small, everyday moment brought you unexpected joy? Wishing you a joyful Thanksgiving filled with connection, warmth, and lots of fun 🤩! #empoweruavenue #gratitude #thanksgivingthoughts #reflection #leadershipcoach #careercoach (Photo of me waiting for the train to London to meet a fun co-facilitator to prep for a session happening in 3 weeks in London 🥳 - misty and cold weather if you’re asking 🥶)

The three most powerful words you can say to someone are “I appreciate you.” These simple words can leave a lasting impact, yet in the hustle of daily life, we often forget to express just how much we value the people around us. I make it a point to remind my team regularly how much I appreciate them and their efforts. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible teams, but this one stands out as something truly special. They’ve tackled countless changes, challenges, and demanding times with grace. They collaborate seamlessly, respect one another, and always find ways to bring a little fun into the workday. While Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and show gratitude, let’s not save all our appreciation for just one day. Make it a habit to recognize and acknowledge those around you throughout the year. A little appreciation goes a long way! How do you show your appreciation? Share your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear them! Happy Thanksgiving! #gratitude #appreciation #teamwork

🍁 Reflecting on Gratitude and Legacy This Thanksgiving 🍁 As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself pausing to reflect on the true meaning of gratitude, connection, and legacy. This day is more than a celebration of abundance and shared meals—it’s an opportunity to honor the people, experiences, and values that shape our lives. For me, Thanksgiving is a reminder of the power of community. Whether it’s the ballroom floor, the boardroom, or the spaces where we come together to create and inspire, we all carry the ability to elevate one another. Gratitude fuels this, allowing us to recognize the beauty of our journeys and the potential in what lies ahead. I’ve learned to value life’s essentials: the support of loved ones, the energy to push forward, and the creativity to build something lasting. These aren’t just personal truths—they reflect what I aim to embody in my work, whether it’s helping others define their brand, build their legacy, or navigate the entrepreneurial world with confidence and grace. This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for the amazing individuals in my life—my family, friends, clients, and collaborators. Each of you is part of a larger story, one where we strive to make an impact, not just for ourselves but for those who come after us. As you gather around your tables, I encourage you to think about your legacy. What mark are you leaving on the world? How can gratitude and connection inspire your next steps? Take this time to rest, recharge, and dream. Let this holiday remind you that success is not just in the achievements but in the relationships, lessons, and moments of joy that shape our lives. From my family to yours, I wish you a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and inspiration to reach new heights. Thank you for being part of my journey and for allowing me to be part of yours. Happy Thanksgiving, and cheers to building a legacy of gratitude and purpose! #Thanksgiving2024 #Gratitude #LegacyBuilding #LaurenLaPointe #ElevateYourBrand #BuildYourLegacy #InspireAndConnect

As we step into Thanksgiving week, I’m reflecting on the power of gratitude—not just as a fleeting thought but as a mindset that shapes how we show up in the world. Let’s be real: Mondays can feel heavy, especially during a holiday week when the to-do lists are endless and the pressure to “get it all done” is real. But today, we're going to pause and focus on what we’re thankful for. Gratitude has this amazing way of shifting our perspective. It reminds us of what’s going right, even when things feel overwhelming. This Monday, I’m inviting you to: 🦃 Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up, when is the last time you've thanked yourself. 🦃 Acknowledge a teammate or friend who’s made your journey easier. 🦃 Celebrate the wins of all sizes small, medium, large—they matter more than you realize. Gratitude isn’t just about big things; it’s about the little moments we often overlook. Like the coworker who made you laugh in a stressful meeting, or the cup of coffee that got you through the day. So, as we gear up for the holiday, let’s focus on the good and carry that energy into the rest of the week. What’s one thing you’re grateful for this Monday? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear from you! #MotivationalMonday #ThanksgivingWeek #GratitudeInAction

🏔️ We’ve all been there: staring at a mountain of responsibilities and wondering how it’s all going to fit into the limited hours of the day—or week 😵💫 This feeling is especially amplified during short weeks like this one… … the Thanksgiving holiday often reminds us to make space for what matters most: 🤗 Friends ❤️ Family 🎉 And, a little Fun! But balancing what matters most, with everything else that still matters, can be challenging ⚖️ 🚨 Here’s the hard truth: No one has the capacity to do everything. Trying to squeeze in every single task only leads to burnout. Instead, it’s essential to focus on the big rocks—the tasks and priorities that truly move the needle, whether at work or in your personal life. 🪨 If you fill your time with small, less critical tasks, there’s no room left for the big, important ones. 😞 So as you tackle this short week, ask yourself: ✅ What’s truly important right now? ✅ What can wait? ✅ How can I prioritize my energy for the people and things that matter most? Focus. Prioritize. Leave room for life. 💫 Wishing everyone a fulfilling and Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 #wednesdaywisdom #leadership #prioritization #focus #happythanksgiving

🦃 Does Thanksgiving feel more like stress than gratitude? Let’s change that. Thanksgiving can bring joy, but it can also feel overwhelming—the endless to-do lists, family dynamics, and pressure to make everything perfect. But here’s the truth: Gratitude isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence. ✨ Here’s how to shift from pressure to gratitude this Thanksgiving: 1️⃣ Pause for a Gratitude Break: Before the chaos kicks in, take a moment to breathe and reflect. Ask yourself: “What am I truly thankful for today?” Write down three things, no matter how small. Gratitude shifts your mindset from stress to abundance. 2️⃣ Say “Thank You” Out Loud: Whether it’s to the person cooking, setting the table, or simply being there, expressing gratitude directly makes a huge difference. It creates a connection and reminds everyone what this holiday is really about. 3️⃣ Release Perfection: Remember, Thanksgiving isn’t about the perfect meal or the perfect day—it’s about showing up, together. Give yourself permission to let go of what isn’t perfect and embrace the beauty of what is. 💡 Pro Tip: If you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a walk outside or find a quiet moment to center yourself. A simple pause can help you recharge and return with a grateful heart. 💬 What’s one thing you’re thankful for this Thanksgiving? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to celebrate gratitude with you. Let’s make this holiday about connection, not perfection. #Business #Strategy #Innovation #Creativity #EmpowermentDynamicsByDharma #ResilientYou

🦃 A Thanksgiving Reflection: Gratitude, Family, and Values That Connect Us All 🍂 This Thanksgiving, Change Pioneers finds itself reflecting deeply on the power of values—the ones cherished in personal lives and how they translate into the organizations we build and lead. At home, values like love, trust, and support create the foundation for families. They guide how people care for one another, face challenges together, and celebrate life's victories. These moments of gratitude remind us of what truly matters. In business, the same holds true. Just like families, companies thrive when they're built on shared values—integrity, collaboration, and a sense of purpose. These are what unite teams, inspire innovation, and create meaningful impact. As we think about the connections and impact we share, Change Pioneers is grateful not only for our ecosystem but also for the communities we’re part of, professionally and personally. Both have taught us that values are more than words—they’re #actions, #commitments, and the glue that binds us through the highs and lows. This Thanksgiving, we want to say thank you to the people who bring these values to life every day—families at home and the professional family who share a vision of building something bigger than ourselves. This Thanksgiving, we encourage everyone to take a moment to recognize the values they hold dear, express gratitude for those who embody them, and recommit to living them out—in families, workplaces, and the world. Wishing you a joyful and reflective Thanksgiving filled with gratitude and connection! 🧡 What values are you celebrating this Thanksgiving?
