When all is said and done a good tenant is one who pays the rent on time and takes good care of the property. They are more likely to do so if they feel a bond towards you and know they have been treated fairly. So, keep on top of repairs, be friendly, and always try and resolve issues promptly. I guess the secret to keeping a good tenant is to simply be a good landlord? #propertyinvestmentadvice #investmentproperty #propertystrategist #propertyfriends

Both tenants and landlords have duty to repair certain parts of the property. I'll be sharing with us an experience I had with some of the tenants to the property I manage. I had a meeting with some of this tenants some weeks ago and they told me about some repairs that should be made in the house. I wasn't so surprised when they listed out the repairs. I knew they didn't know their left from right about it. You as a tenant should take note of the following so you won't go and do some of the repairs that your Landlord ought to or expect the Landlord to repair what you ought to repair as a tenant... You can read about this duties in the comment section. #tenantandlandlords #propertyrepair #realestate #realestatelawyer #realestatelaw

When was the last time you checked the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in your rented property? As a landlord, you are legally required to ensure that these alarms are installed correctly and are functioning correctly. While it is the tenant's responsibility to change any batteries and report any issues, it is good practice to check the alarms regularly, and record that you have carried out these checks. Cdk Lettings have created a handy checklist for landlords to help you make sure that your property is fully compliant. You can download it here for FREE: https://lnkd.in/eiedCqv6 If you would like to have a chat about this, or anything else property related, you can call our friendly and helpful team on 01695 227177. #lettingagent #lettingagents #lettingagentuk #rentyourhome #rentyourhome #rentyourhomenow #rentyourhomewithus #landlords #landlords #landlordswanted #locallettings #locallettingagent #localletting #locallettingsagent #locallettingagents #locallettingagency #locallettingsexpert #locallettingsexperts #skelmersdale #westlancashire #westlancashire #homesforrent #rentalproperty #rentalproperties #rentalpropertytips #propertyRent #PropertyRental #propertyrental #propertyrentals #northwestproperties
