Never trust someone who says, "trust me". "I only do handshake deals." "My investors like to stay anonymous." "I get VTB's on all my deals." "The initial deposit doesn't mean anything" "Board approval is just a checkmark" **Caveat, sometimes the board meeting IS just a checkmark, but trust is earned through deal history and references from people you trust.** Don't get burned. Fair. It’s a thing. Especially in markets like this. Recall some story re a purchaser out of the Middle East who vanished. Need to know everything re the purchaser. And people like Dayma add value here. Something one should expect out of a agent/broker. Good this is getting airtime.
Unnecessary urgency Dayma. If a client is pushing hard to get it done ASAP with no reason that makes sense it's a red flag
“I never re-trade” “It’s a no-brainer” “I respect brokers, I was one”

“Let me be honest with you”…
That’s what a lot of people say. I remember the TV show where the guy tells his wife ‘Trust me’. And his wife tells him ‘The last time you told me that, we had Mark!’ 🤣. My ex best friend used to tell me that she trusts so few people. But she left me abruptly when I needed her most, which was right after my mother died. She didn’t tell hubby about the friendship and he found out. And all this time I thought he knew because I had told her to bring him to meet my family. She never did! 🙄. A lot of women have told me ‘You can see me’, ‘Come and see me’ (where? At the office, of course). I am careful trusting a lot of people now. 😳, 🙄. Life! 🤪.
