Well, this is a bit exciting (for an HR person). 😁 Today I’m operating in my role as Vice Chair and Policy Lead for the Cumbria CIPD branch and am joining a team from the North along with our national CIPD colleagues to pull together recommendations to the Labour government on their proposed changes to employment law. ⚖️ My role as an HR Consultant along with my CIPD roles provide me with a unique insight into the views of many employers and HR professionals and having an opportunity to feed that in and potentially influence the details of the laws proposed is a pretty rare opportunity. Super proud to be championing the voice from Cumbria today and representing the Northern people professionals! 💪
