Was just reading the foreword by Doug Tallamy...WOW! Here's a small sample... “Every once in a while, a book comes along that meets an important need most people don’t know they have. Sarah Jayne’s Nature’s Action Guide is such a book. Sarah could have called her book Conservation for Dummies—not that she wrote it for true dummies, but because she has identified a subject everyone needs to know but almost no one was ever taught: how to share our spaces with the natural world.” … “Sarah wrote Nature’s Action Guide as a complement to my book Nature’s Best Hope. My last chapter suggested 10 things homeowners could/should do to help share their property with nature. After reading my book, Sarah set about trying to enact each of these suggestions in her own yard but quickly realized that, even as an experienced gardener, she didn’t know enough to be successful. And if she didn’t know enough, many other budding conservationists were likely to struggle as well. Sarah’s solution was to write Nature’s Action Guide, a step-by-step, easy to use manual that explains how each of us, regardless of our background or gardening experience, can accomplish all of the goals I propose in Nature’s Best Hope, as well as several I only hinted at! Restoration biology is a relatively young scientific discipline a few decades old. Practicing restoration in human-dominated landscapes, in comparison, is in its infancy and we are still learning what works and what doesn’t work. One of its many distinguishing features is that Nature’s Action Guide is current, explaining state-of-the-art conservation in suburbia with the most up-to-date best-practices available. Even a half-hearted attempt to follow Sarah’s action items is guaranteed to improve the biodiversity potential of your landscape and thus the productivity of your local ecosystem. For this, we all owe Sarah Jayne our heartfelt thanks and gratitude—because, whether we appreciate it or not, we all depend on those same ecosystems.” Douglas W. Tallamy

I'm excited to say that Nature's Action Guide is finally published! Thank you to everyone who has helped make it a reality!

Need some motivation to kick start your career ? ....this inspirational post from Sophie is a good starting point! The reality is, it's not easy to find your dream job.... and it rarely comes through luck. So, a simple question - do you have a career strategy? It sounds simple, but it is all about being realistic about your capabilities (self awareness), being able to articulate what your ideal role "looks like" and then preparing yourself for it - as the old saying goes, "if you don't know where you are going, you will never get there". The final part of the process is aligning yourself with an organisation who you can "connect" with - their values, behaviours and objectives resonate positively with you - this is what Sophie referred to as "culture", others call it "fit". At ngageconsulting, we have developed a career enhancing process which takes you through everything described above...and much more. We call it the Career Accelerator Program (CAP). Like Sophie's positive experience with Agrii, the CAP will help you clarify what your future could look like and it will challenge, stimulate and, ultimately, prepare you for your next career move .....that might be your first step into management or striving for CEO. The CAP is there for all! So Please DM me or my colleague, Bo Bronserud, to find out more about the CAP. Alternatively, we are more than happy to simply have an informal and confidential chat and please remember....it's good to dream!
Today marks my two-year anniversary at Agrii! 🎊🥳 Agrii is an exceptional company to work for. The value placed on staff is unparalleled, and the organisational culture is the best I have ever experienced. I have grown and been challenged in a truly constructive manner, and I look forward to many more years here. Thank you to all my colleagues for making Agrii such a wonderful place to work.

I launched Mync Boutique while sitting alone in my car, across from a post office, with nothing but a vision and determination. The road was filled with obstacles, but each struggle reinforced my commitment to my dream. Today, Mync Boutique is a thriving symbol of female entrepreneurship and empowerment. For all the women out there who feel alone in their journey, remember: your solitary beginnings can lead to extraordinary achievements. Keep believing in your dreams. 🌟 #WomenInBusiness #EntrepreneurialSpirit #Empowerment

Feeling the love today 💖 So thankful to be a part of such a supportive team that encourages me to be the best version of myself. When I first accepted this job as a Staffing Recruiter, I wasn't sure what to expect. Throughout my career as an internal recruiter I was told the grind wouldn't be for me, or I wouldn't like the fast pace because I wouldn't have an opportunity to connect with my candidates. Fast forward one year and I can honestly say, I'm the best Recruiter I've ever been. I use tools and sourcing methods that internal recruiting peers only talked about, but never put into practice. My candidates appreciate the time I take to understand their skill sets, explain the job, and pipeline them for future roles. And I just LOVE working across multiple industries! It also doesn't hurt that everchanging priorities (sometimes by the hour), compliments my ADHD and short attention span. *Oooo something new and shiny!!!* This goes to show you that just because someone thinks something is undesirable for THEM and makes a quick judgement about YOU, doesn't mean they are right or that you will feel the same way. Sometimes, you gotta see for yourself. I'm so happy I did. Cheers to One Year 🥂 Did you know we're hiring?? Join my team as a Staffing Manager or Recruiter and let's reach new heights TOGETHER! #appreciation #anniversary #werehiring Jan A. Davis 〰 Edwin Soriano 〰 Diane Catalan 〰 Luis Mendoza
We are so grateful to have you as a part of the SuperbTech, Team!!! Kudos to Kamber Lee on your 1st Anniversary!!! Well done!!!!

It was December last year on this same date when I was having hopes of getting a job offer in 2024. Another year has ended when I'm just hopeless as a new fresher in job hunting. imagine if I was not working, how could I manage to maintain online presence on LinkedIn? where the job hunting process has no specific end date. In day to day life, if you want to stay while positive in this competitive world, you must have plans. it's not always good to just Wake up one day and get engaged in things which do not have specific deadlines. People will use you at Free cost because you are showing a begging mentality in programs where you don't not have powers and abilities to influence decision making. They will insist calling you their coworker when you have never gotten chance to meet any one among their company recruiters. just Imagine being called a coworker when you have never been put on a company strength for a monthly payment. They will always be sending you tasks for you to do on email, you will sacrifice your time, energy and data to do their work activities as LinkedIn is also giving you new update information on every new job openings. just Imagine a person who looks to be respected, seem to be recognized by the company, and you are even called their coworker, you are the same person who is struggling afresh in writing and sending new job applications in other companies. you will get confused up, you will develop doubts, you can lose the morale, selfesteem and confidence. This is exactly what is happening on me. I lost all the hopes I had started with, so now I'm hopeless. I just do whatever activities I receive on my email but I can not lie to anyone that I'm very sure on matters regarding the next step in relation to what I'm doing now. it's only God who knows what we don't know but for me personally I surrendered because I don't want to suffer so much with false hopes. A job hunting process which takes more than two years for me personally I can raise there a question mark. What is there that is very hard which someone can not perfect while on job? Imagine someone is in job hunting but it appears like as if he is persuing a bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery because of the duration of the time he or she can spend.
Wishing everyone happy holidays and a fantastic 2025; 2024 was quite a year, and I appreciate all of you! 💙
