David Franken’s Post

December 7, 2024, our son Ori Borenstein would have been 33 years old. He died on October 10, 2024 while protecting his friends and country, in hope to bring back those kidnapped and and murdered on Oct 7, 2023. Normally I do not share personal topics on Linkedin, and therefore my silence these past two months, however the post below of STXI Motion deserves some commentary, and I would like to relate to it, as someone working in international markets for over 30 years. In recent years, we hear of companies bragging about how great they are with sustainability, inclusive management, and care and value for their human resources. In many cases however, these are words only. I see this so often in my involvement in the corporate markets around the world. In many companies, concern, respect and care for employees is not a priority and often experienced and talented employees are not treated well and/or get fired. One can easily see this by the behavior of employees in such organizations; you see unmotivated workers making poor decisions not for the long term benefit of the company. I first met STXI at a trade show around the time Ori began to work there. I saw Roni Kedar and the sales and marketing team with such great team spirit. Over the years, Ori enjoyed working at this company that was always truly putting their human resources as their most valuable resource. He was working at a place where he truly cared about his coworkers. I should emphasize, that this day of honor mentioned in this post, is really just one of many kind activities that STXI and their employees have been doing for a long time, and more visible to me in recent months. The "financial benefit" for a more caring corporate behavior is not always seen in the short term. In addition to the benefit of doing what is morally good, customers of such organizations will also benefit when employees or more motivated and caring, and in the end , it will benefit the company's bottom line in the long term. Words of Inspiration to accompany your day

I am that kind of person that loves coming on social media platforms to read as much as possible write-ups with less engagement. I absolutely get inspired by those readings I do but my ultimate source of inspiration has remained the Holy Scriptures. Reading through in the book of first Samuel, I caught an inspiration of course, I should. The children of Israel after having the ark of God away from their camp for some time, rejoiced with a great shout upon the return of the ark back into their midst. That shout sent shivers into the camp of the Philistines gathered to engage the Israelites in a battle. Philistines knowing what the Ark caused to their greatest idol called Dagon, they knew they are finished with the Ark now in the camp of the Israelites. But to my amazement, one of the Philistines stood up with a strange attitude which I have decided to call 'POSITIVE ATTITUDE' as that is what we will term it as in our time today. Do you know that with the positive attitude, energy, and perspective of one man, the Philistines overran the Israelites and beat them small in that battle despite the children of Israel having the greatest weapon for victory. Now, look at yourself and that thing you have not being able to do. Is it not because you've allowed a negative attitude, energy, and perspective for so long? Is it not because you've being thinking it is people with heavy credentials that get those kind of opportunities and job offers? The list is endless. But here's the catch, despite the heaviness of the armoury of the Israelites and the Ark, they were still defeated just because a Philistines decided to think and act differently. Forget about every other thing that was responsible for the defeat. The victory of the Philistines wouldn't still have been possible if a positive attitude was not employed. It's a new week and God can always do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think but the limitation is "according to the power that work in us". God is not limited but He cannot do beyond what you allow Him to do in your life. Which power is working in you? Is it the power of pessimism or optimism? Know this for sure that, even in the face of obvious failure or defeat, the direction your mind power navigates toward will greatly influence what the outcome will be. Happy new week #linkedinfamily
