Tomorrow is the release date for an exciting, new movie from Angel Studios - "Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Spy, Assassin!" The life and writings of this German Christian leader in the 20th century have inspired me in my biblical citizenship. According to the Real Life Network, "This captivating film brings the story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the courageous WWII-era pastor turned resistance figure, to the big screen." #oxycombustion In Türkiye, unlike middle-earth where Sauron didn't care about the CO2 emissions of Mount Doom, we accompany Metal recycling industries to improve their combustion and reduce their CO2 footprint 😉💪
🎬 Middle-Earth returns to the silver screen 🎞️ The animated story of the king of Rohan takes place 183 years before the events of the beloved film trilogy. As it revives Tolkien’s fictional universe, we wondered if we could really forge THE Ring (without the Evil that goes with it, of course). Here’s our answer 👇 Do we still have to go through Mordor to find Mount Doom? #LotR #TheWarOfTheRohirrim #RingofPower #Sauron

Possum Trot, the new movie released by Angel Studios, made $6.6M at the box office over the July 4th holiday (total includes Thursday as well as the weekend). Not a bad showing for a faith-based film. But, can I be honest? I'm not going to take my kids to go see it. This is the thing that bothers me about the current state of independent Christian film. Everyone refers to a movie like Possum Trot as a "family" film, but while we were on vacation my kids went and saw Inside Out 2 and Despicable Me 4. Hence why those two movies were #1 and #2 and have made over $650M over the last 4 weeks. Faith dramas are not necessarily *family* movies just because there's no cursing or sexual content in them. That's why we're making Dot Conner: Webtective. It's a fun mystery adventure families will see together, and we start shooting THIS FRIDAY. But because of the current gatekeeping mentality of the entertainment industry, we need your help in this process! Help us bring Dot Conner: Webtective to the big screen in 2025: https://lnkd.in/eMvjqBvN
