Adding a feature to #ChatGPT that enables users to pin a tab to the taskbar on the left side would greatly assist users. It would allow them to allocate a specific tab for repeated tasks, thereby preserving a record of their actions in that tab for quick and easy access. OpenAI

💡 OpenAI implemented "memory" recently in #ChatGPT, you will see a pop-up soon informing you about the feature. The intent is to passively collect information about you (for example, your anniversary) so as to be able to intelligently chat with you about details and personal preferences. WOW.. OpenAI ChatGPT-o1-preview blew my mind! Create a lamdba function using SNS and SES to be an email responder for meeting requests, lookup an array that has my free times, find best matches and then use openAI API to generate and send a response email... 1 min of thinking and 2 small corrections later.. It JUST WORKS. (Even generated a wrapper to try it out locally on my machine!) To clarify... the model generated 2 js files and instructions to build an npm package and deploy as a lambda function. I deployed it as is and it works out of the box... I think very soon, if the cost is not mad, we will not need to code ... just write in english and the model will generate code in the right language, select the best platform, and have it deployed. (from machine code, to assembly, to compiler, to interpretted languages and jvm ... to just English or any human language for that matter) Welcome to the crazy world of AI that we all thought would be here soon.. well it is pretty much here! ICYMI* OpenAI is winding down the ChatGPT plugins beta. *Last day is March 19, 2024 Based on the adoption of GPTs by both users and builders, OpenAI decided to wind down the plugin beta. The creation of new conversations with plugins will be disabled on March 19, 2024. Users will be able to continue existing plugin conversations until April 9, 2024. During the plugins beta, the store had a little more than 1,000 plugins available. The GPT Store already has hundreds of thousands of GPTs spread across categories like writing, productivity, programming, education and more. When will the plugin store stop being accessible? A: On March 19, 2024, you will no longer be able to install new plugins or create new conversations with existing plugins. What will happen to the conversations I had with different plugins? A: On March 19, 2024, we will stop the creation of new conversations with plugins but you will be able to continue existing conversations until April 9, 2024. How do I know if the plugin I was using has a GPT? A: The GPT store has a search functionality which allows you to search for the name or other details about a plugin that you used. Why are you winding down the plugin beta? A: With the launch of GPTs and the GPT store, we were able to make many improvements that plugin users had asked for.
