They don't call it the "hustle" for nothing - especially if you're neglecting your own well-being in the process! 😩 We've all been there - that brutal startup grind where self-care takes a backseat to relentless work. For me, those stretches of personal neglect eventually led to declining physical and mental health. Fatigue, lack of focus, feeling 10 years older overnight - those were my warning signs. 🥵 That's when I knew something had to change. So I got cracking on curating a sustainable self-care routine that could co-exist with the hustle: 1) Prepping nutritious meals in advance to avoid those desperate midnight food runs 🍲 2) Kickstarting each morning with energizing yoga and meditation 🧘♂️ 3) Reclaiming weekends by escaping to nature through invigorating treks 🥾 Making self-care non-negotiable has been a game changer for my productivity, creativity and overall well-being as an entrepreneur. Of course, there are still crazy days when the routine flies out the window. I get asked a lot about how I manage and balance work, business and family life. Let me share a little bit of it with you today. And I would like to highlight the word SELFCARE. As a mother and entrepreneur, balancing the demands of business, family, and personal growth can often feel overwhelming. But here’s the truth: you cannot do it all alone—and you shouldn’t have to. For me, self-care is about more than just physical well-being. It’s also about creating space to breathe, lean on others, and nurture your mental health. Here are a few practices that have helped me stay grounded: 1. Skincare as Self-Care: A nightly skincare ritual using natural, nourishing products can be a soothing way to unwind and reconnect with yourself. Delegate or Outsource: Whether it’s a business task, household chores, or meal prepping, I've learnt that handing off tasks that others can handle gives me time to focus on the more important & delicate matters. 3. Find Your Support System: Having people to vent with—whether friends, family, or fellow entrepreneurs—makes the journey less lonely and more manageable. 5. Prioritize Rest: Listen to your body. Do Something You Love: Whether it’s painting, dancing, walking, or reading, spend time doing an activity that brings you joy and recharges your spirit. 7. Join a Community: Dont underestimate the power of community. Finding a group of like-minded people—whether for business, church activities, hobbies, or relaxation—can provide encouragement, new perspectives, and a sense of belonging. 8.
