CBP is #NowHiring a GS-14 Program Manager (Executive Officer). Applications are open to CBP employees until 1/02. Responsibilities will include: ➡️ Exercising significant discretion to ensure the smooth functioning of the EAC's/DEAC's internal and external affairs workload through monitoring and tracking tasks; preparing content for meetings, presentations and projects; and working with other internal and external staff to ensure the successful and timely completion of Enterprise Services tasks and implementation of internal and external requirements. ➡️ Managing a rapid flow of work, handling many tasks daily spanning multiple projects, and will need to toggle between big picture, long-term strategic priorities and time sensitive details. Serving as a bi-directional "gatekeeper," helping to develop and nurture relationships both internal and external to the organization. ➡️Ensuring all written communications are of the highest quality and EAC's intended messages are clearly articulated. Reviewing all briefings and correspondence to ensure they meet intent and answer the requisite questions. ➡️Utilizing independent and authoritative judgment and communicating on behalf of the EAC/DEAC with other offices, both internal and external, on matters related to the EAC/DEAC programmatic initiatives. Or here is an idea waiting for Rodney Scott to come on board and let him pick who will be hired as opposed to stacking the deck against him with problem children sent to the Regan building because they screwed up in the field? If you are not a GS-1895 who has been at least a third-line supervisor, you have about as much of a chance of getting this job as winning the Powerball. It's a joke. They even announce this because it is already selected, and I will guess the initials of the person hired as AT. Hoefully not, yes I know there is a P in Hope but no P in Ho!
