If you were a customer calling about a billing issue, and the advisor you spoke to was courteous, but was unable to fully answer your query because the billing department team member handling the issue was indifferent or doesn't think it's an urgent matter, I'm guessing you would feel frustrated. 𝗔𝗺 𝗜 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁? Back-office and support teams like billing, IT, and accounting are integral to delivering on the company's customer promises. Their work behind-the-scenes directly affects customers through processing times, accuracy, and problem resolution. In addition, back-office staff often need to liaise with other departments to resolve complex issues. Poor teamwork and lack of customer-focused thinking can lead to delays, miscommunication, and unsatisfied customers.
