Over the past few months, our organization has opened several roles, and the hiring process has been an insightful journey. While technical skills are important, what we value most is attitude, alignment with our core values, and the ability to connect with the communities we serve. A key requirement for our program roles is proficiency in the local language, not English. We recognise that language can be a barrier during interviews, so we ensure candidates are interviewed by a local language speaker if needed. We want candidates to feel comfortable expressing themselves. Recently, some candidates shared feedback that they felt their English proficiency might have impacted their selection. While this is not a criterion in our process, we appreciate their honesty and want to take this opportunity to clarify our approach. First, customizing your resume takes time and by the TIME you send your resume over, the job posting is already OVER. This sucks, so I have included 19 ATS optimized resume templates proven to convert these hiring referrals into real interviews. I will show you how to effortlessly identify what type of product manager role this position is and EXACTLY the resume template you need to send to captivate the hiring manager from my 3+ years of technical recruiting experience. Second, getting the hiring manager to actually review your resume is mission impossible half the time, so send your resume screenshot(s) in addition to your PDF which is going to save the hiring manager from downloading your resume, that way they see can your resume IMMEDIATELY.
