We are thrilled to have our Chairman & Managing Director Mr. Nour Elbadawy's insights to the IIA Egypt Chapter, on how changing the Board reshapes the Organizational Culture. He tapped on a popular model (Cameron and Quinn's) used to understand and categorize organizational cultures. It's a valuable tool for leaders to assess their current culture and identify areas for improvement. The framework is based on two key dimensions: 🏁 Flexibility vs. Stability: This dimension looks at whether the organization is more focused on adaptability and change (flexibility) or on maintaining stability and control (stability). 🏁 Internal vs. External Focus: This dimension considers whether the organization is more focused on internal processes and relationships (internal focus) or on external factors like customers and competitors (external focus). ⛳ The intersection of these two dimensions results in four distinct types of organizational culture: 🏁 Clan Culture: Values: Collaboration, commitment, teamwork, and family-like atmosphere. Focus: Internal and Flexible Characteristics: Emphasis on employee development, mentoring, and long-term relationships. Leadership Style: Participative, mentoring, coaching. 🏁 Adhocracy Culture: Values: Innovation, creativity, risk-taking, and adaptability. Focus: External and Flexible Characteristics: Emphasis on experimentation, innovation, and rapid response to change. Leadership Style: Entrepreneurial, visionary, risk-taking. 🏁 Market Culture: Values: Competition, achievement, results, and goal-orientation. Focus: External and Stable Characteristics: Emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and achieving goals. Leadership Style: Competitive, results-oriented, decisive. 🏁 Hierarchy Culture: Values: Control, stability, efficiency, and process orientation. Focus: Internal and Stable Characteristics: Emphasis on rules, procedures, and formal authority. Leadership Style: Structured, formal, bureaucratic. #Culture #Organizational_Culture #How_to_Audit_Culture #Board #Governance #Internal_Audit #IIA #IIA_Egypt_Chapter #Lift_Your_Business_Acumen
