Working Genius Tip: Let’s flesh out guilt and judgment. You know like when a co-worker shows up late for a meeting and you judgingly (judging but pretending to be loving) assume they don’t care about you or the topic of the meeting? However, remember when it was daylight savings week and you couldn’t move one fiber of your body out of bed and then spilled your coffee only to make you late for your appointment? Same and different, right? 🙂 What if there was another way to work alongside each other with more joy, energy, and productivity? Let’s chat about Working Genius.

Quiet periods allow us to pause. We’re people, not machines, and even machines get taken out of action for a check-up every now and then! Slowing down, resting, taking time out and just doing less in the day gives us a chance to renew and refresh those essential internal resources we need to do our jobs well. We think better, and more good ideas come when we feel rested and relaxed. Read three more benefits of having quiet periods at work: https://lnkd.in/e8eDyaYJ

Warning signs of a toxic work culture: being told you're 'not tough enough' for speaking out against exploitation. Let's call it what it is - gaslighting. The normalization of overwork and burnout has gone unchecked for far too long. It's time to prioritize our mental health, challenge unhealthy work ethics, and demand a better work environment. #mentalhealthmatters #workplacewellness #healthyboundaries #careeradvocacy
