Great book about the use of data science to understand, the customers of the supermarket Tesco, buying habits, recorded via the club card. It showed how an analysis of the data allowed Tesco to sell more and keep the customers happy. Given that the story starts in the mid-90s, it is an early success story of big data. https://lnkd.in/egBbi8Kn
