Time for a vintage winter warmer to add to your holiday repteoire? Amongst the most popular gin drinks during London’s winter of 1822, Gin Twist was immortalised in a 149-line poem as well as in several shorter poems published in London newspapers. It was a remarkably simple drink made with gin, sugar, water, lemon juice and a lemon twist garnish to prove the concoction was made with fresh lemon juice—a true luxury back then, the Gin Twist still offers a superior drink today. Ingredients: 50 ml gin 25 ml simple syrup (or a tablespoon of white sugar) 25 ml fresh lemon juice 75-100ml boiling water Method: Combine ingredients in a teacup or Irish coffee mug. Stir. Garnish with a lemon twist.

A delightful mix that balances tart and sweet for those cozy autumn evenings. 🍂🍹 🍹 Cranberry Cobbler Glass: Chilled rocks glass 🌿 Ingredients: Dry Gin: 60 ml Fortified Wine: 20 ml Cranberry Syrup: 15 ml Cranberries: Muddled (4 for the drink, 3 for garnish) Citrus: 1 lemon wedge and 1 orange wheel, muddled Garnish: Mint sprig 🥂 Method: Muddle: In a chilled glass, muddle 4 cranberries, a lemon wedge, and an orange wheel. Mix: Add 60 ml gin, 20 ml fortified wine, and 15 ml cranberry syrup. Shake: Combine all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Strain: Pour into the chilled glass filled with pebble ice. Garnish: Add 3 cranberries and a mint sprig. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have fancy pebble ice, you can smash regular cubes by wrapping them in a tea towel and smashing them with a rolling pin, just be careful not to have too much fun and smashing them too much ;) Suggested Australian Spirits For dry Gin - @square1gin Big Red Gin #yourbaryourway #FallCocktails #CranberryDelight #AsutralianSpirits
