Effectively managing oscillations in wind turbine towers during installation is crucial for both structural integrity and safety amid fluctuating wind conditions. These towers, due to their flexible design, can experience significant sway from wind forces, particularly in tall and narrow structures. Left unmitigated, such movements risk compromising stability, leading to potential hazards. Damping systems and temporary bracing are essential in reducing these oscillations, while careful timing in each installation phase ensures optimal wind conditions, keeping the tower stable and the installation process secure. #Wind #WindTurbine

Mobile power supply with GN1430: Power always and everywhere - flexible, quiet and independent! The solar wings can be extended using our telescopic slides. Perfect for: - Construction sites - Rural areas - Events - ...and much more! Advantages: - Flexible: Simple extension of the solar wings for optimum power generation - Quiet: Emission-free operation without disturbing noise - Independent: Power supply even in remote areas - Sustainable: Clean and environmentally friendly energy source Telescopic slides GN 1430 are installed vertically and in pairs. The stroke reaches ≈ 100 % of the nominal length l1 (full extension). The rubber stops of type E dampen the impact of the slide in the two end positions and takes on the locking function of the back stop position. This feature is noticeable through a slight resistance on opening and closing. #designedforengineering #elesaganter #mobilepower #power #telescopicslides #solar

Wind Tunnel Testing Is essential for high-rise buildings to evaluate how wind forces impact their structural stability and safety. By simulating real wind conditions, these tests provide data on wind pressures, loads, and turbulence that can affect a tall building’s design and comfort levels for occupants. The test results help engineers optimize the shape and structural elements to minimize wind-induced sway, vibrations, and potential damage. This is especially important in ensuring the safety of the building and its surroundings in high wind environments. Ultimately, wind tunnel testing ensures that high-rise buildings are resilient, energy-efficient, and safe under various wind conditions. The structural assessment should take account of wind load. The system should remain safe when subject to foreseeable wind loadings. A system is not necessarily required to remain functional in high winds (although client/contractual requirements might require otherwise); the system should, however, remain safe. A new windrotor from University of Birmingham, vertical axis, created by K I ( A I)? 7 Times more efficient than modern Wind Turbine s? You can't violate the aerodynamic rules. Choose the windspeed ( m/s), Take the Betz-figure (Watts/m2), Multiply with the crosssection of the VAT (rectangle in m2). This is the absolute theoretical output of the Birmingham rotor also. Another ineffectiv system to earn electricity out of the wind, especially at low windspeeds
