🧠 Announcing Count AI 🧠 We've been in the lab tinkering with the best way to integrate AI into the Count experience, and we're nearly ready to share. This week Oliver Hughes wrote a post detailing our AI strategy and unveiled a prototype of the up-and-coming Count AI (video below). We won't give away all the goods here, but let's just say this isn't the run-of-the-mill SQL-generating LLM model. Count AI seamlessly integrates into every aspect of the Count canvas, automating tasks across every step of the analytical workflow. Get the full story with the link in the comments 👇

Just had my first conversation with the Kyutai foundational model, and I’m blown away! It’s incredibly fast, and the interaction feels already quite natural. I might actually get used to talking to AI. I can't wait for the future! I'm excited to see how the open-source community will improve this once the model and details are released. And If you can't wait, there is a demo for you to try: https://lnkd.in/e7VvDZaC

Today Kyutai released an astonishing AI conversational platform. Basically, it is an open source-version of OpenAI GPT4o- conversational assistant and it is amazing! I am speaking with the AI and having really interesting conversations... IN REAL TIME... Just remarkable. They plan to release paper + code + pretrained models so, I think this is going to be pretty disruptive and a lot of voice-based conversational assistants and applications are going to be incorporated on several use-cases . Check it out and try it for yourself. For now just free 5 minute conversations but enough to us hints on what is coming. https://lnkd.in/eEaue7xu

Sneak peek preview of the upcoming CODE Magazine cover. The cover is itself AI generated, and the article it goes with is also an article about AI generating stuff (a game in this case). Pretty cool! I showed how we do some of this, and how it is integrated into our in-house systems, at our recent State of AI events, so some of you may have seen me actually generate the art.

Function calling is the future. It's all that AI agents need. My AI researchers at http://composio.dev experimented with how to improve function calling accuracy. We are sharing our findings at https://lnkd.in/dKnMhKDj. There has been a bunch of work on Function calling by OpenAI itself, GorillaLLM by Shishir Patil and team, Functionary by MeetKai Inc., NexusRaven by Nexusflow, and Firefunction by Fireworks AI. (More blogs on their comparison coming soon) Most of the work is to improve the model's function calling and very little on the functions themselves. At http://composio.dev, that's what we are improving, the best-in-the-class functions for you to build the best-in-the-class agents. Check the blog for various techniques that you can use to improve your agent or directly use Composio. TL;DR of the blog:
