Continue with Electrolyzer, The electrolyzer control system looks after the individual stack where stack current adjustment, Cell voltage control, Pulse width modulation, electrolyte flow rate and temperature management are the main monitoring and controlling elements. The H2 production rate from a single cell stack is controlled by the amount of current supplied to the rectifier which converts AC high voltage supply into DC input. The production rate is linear. Thus, the quantity of the hydrogen to be produced is specified as a setpoint and because the hydrogen quantity is a direct function of current, then it is adjusted with the current supplied to the rods. Winded materials naturally generate static electricity during processing. This electrostatic charge becomes a problem as it affects the behaviour of the substrate during handling. These charges also often attract particles to the web material and cause defects in the uniformity of the coating, which can lead to quality problems. Significant static charges can also cause electrical discharge problems for the operator.
