Today, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, in the Armed Forces. On this Remembrance Day, we wear our poppies with pride as a symbol of our gratitude for those who gave their lives so that we might live in peace. In the silence of this day, we reflect on the profound debt we owe to all who fought for freedom, justice, and hope. It is a time to come together as a community, to honour the past and commit ourselves to building a future worthy of their sacrifice. At the 11th hour, we stand in silence, not just to remember those lost in conflict, but to renew our resolve for a more peaceful world. Let us never forget their legacy. Lest We Forget.

Honoring Remembrance Day: A Tribute to Courage and Sacrifice 🌺 Today, on Remembrance Day, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of all who served in the armed forces. Across Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and beyond, this day marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended WWI—a symbol of peace and a solemn reminder of the lives lost in defense of freedom. At 11:00 a.m., we observe a moment of silence—a powerful tradition that invites us to reflect on the selfless bravery that has safeguarded our way of life. Many of us wear the iconic red poppy today, a symbol of resilience that grew on battlefields, reminding us of those who gave their lives and the enduring spirit of remembrance. Around the world, communities come together through ceremonies, wreath-laying, and parades, where veterans and civilians unite in tribute. Lest we forget. 🌺 . . . . #ElisyanWealth #ElisyanWealthVentures #ControlYourFinances #TrackYourWealth #FinancialFreedom #Investor #FinancialInvestor #FinancialApp #Finance #FinancialTips #FinancialPlanning #FinTech #FinancialAdvisor #PersonalFinance #FinancialAdvice

Today, Remembrance Sunday🌹, we honor and remember the sacrifices of countless men and women who served in the British and Commonwealth armed forces, not only in the profound and world-changing conflicts of the two World Wars but also in countless battles and peacekeeping missions that have followed. It’s a day of reflection and gratitude for those who selflessly laid down their lives, protecting our freedoms, heritage, and values. These soldiers, medics, pilots, sailors, and civilians, each played a role in shaping the world we live in today. They defended us in times of unimaginable conflict, often making the ultimate sacrifice. In remembering them, we acknowledge those whose futures were cut short so that others might have a future. This reflection spans beyond just British and Commonwealth forces, as we also commemorate the service of all who have perished in duty around the world 🌍. In today’s world, there is a growing sense that these deeply-held values, the courage, loyalty, and sense of duty that these men and women exemplified, are under strain in a changing society. Yet, the act of remembrance reminds us not only of the sacrifices of the past but also of the principles and values worth defending for the future. In honoring their memory, we also reaffirm our commitment to the ideals they fought for, encouraging each of us to strive toward a world where peace, respect, and human dignity remain central to our way of life. #LestWeForget #RemembranceSunday #HonoringOurHeroes #InMemory #ServiceAndSacrifice #WeWillRememberThem #BritishArmedForces #CommonwealthForces #PeaceAndRespect #HumanDignity #Gratitude #Sacrifice #Freedom #WorldUnity

On this POW/MIA Recognition Day, we at The Red Gate Group pause to honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of American service members who endured captivity and those still unaccounted for. The numbers are sobering: ▪ Over 81,500 Americans remain missing from conflicts spanning WWII to the Gulf War and beyond. ▪ 75% of these losses are in the Indo-Pacific region. ▪ More than 41,000 are presumed lost at sea. Each number represents a story of valor, a family waiting for closure, and a promise we must keep. We salute organizations like the National League of POW/MIA Families and the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency: https://lnkd.in/dn-ATEmN Their unwavering commitment to providing the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel is a testament to our nation's values. To those who served and sacrificed, and to the families who wait: We remember. We honor. We will not rest until they all come home. #POWMIARecognitionDay #NeverForget #BringThemHome

𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗡𝗢𝗪: 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 What if we said that YOUR story could help shape the laws that impact military families like yours? (Spoiler Alert: That’s EXACTLY what we’re saying!) It’s time to make your voice heard! We need YOUR stories to show #Congress the real impact Military Life has on you and your family. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿? The House has already made “Quality of Life Recommendations” included in the #2025NDAA, but there’s pushback on the cost. The SENATE needs to hear from MilFams to understand that supporting the military community isn’t optional – it’s ESSENTIAL! That’s why we need your help to get these recommendations included in the final version and signed into LAW! ***TRUE BOTTOM-UP SOLUTION*** I took a leap of faith on the day after 9.11 and began crafting The Nonviolence Solution to Terrorism. The first thing I learned was there is no military solution to terrorism. It took a while but over time I also discovered that there is NO top-down solution to Income Inequality. 23 years later it’s time to share the true bottom-up solution to both. 1. https://BillKeefe.org 2. https://Freice.com 3. https://TheDreamFeeder.com 4. https://ThePartyOfUS.com

A new read helping to resource thinking over trending political circumstances in the USA and what outcomes it has to the whole debate over the idealism-realism nexus in Civil-Military Relations, in light of the contradicting evolving nature of liberal democracy and resurgence of military coups in Africa and rising insurgencies.

#NationalPOWMIARecognitionDay remembers and honors those Americans who were prisoners of war and who served and never returned home. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) is responsible for providing the “fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel from past conflicts to their families and the nation.” The DPAA searches for those missing from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, the Gulf Wars, and other recent conflicts. More than 81,000 American personnel are currently listed as Missing in Action. The DPAA estimates that almost 39,000 are recoverable, with the others being lost at sea. In the 2023 Presidential Proclamation on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, President Biden wrote, “Above the White House and the United States Capitol — and at military bases, memorials, cemeteries, and homes across America — we fly the POW/MIA flag, and we remember what it represents: the thousands of spouses, parents, sons, daughters, and loved ones who served and sacrificed for our freedom and future; loved ones who mourn with unanswered questions still in their hearts; and the debt of gratitude we owe them that we can never fully repay. We cannot and must not forget our obligation to our unreturned heroes — no matter how long it takes.” Learn more about the DPAA and their ongoing recovery effortshttps://lnkd.in/eQhNKmwb #OurPromise
