I’ll never forget the Thanksgiving give-back event I participated in last year. We handed out hygiene kits, food, and clothes to individuals experiencing homelessness. Watching someone step out of a mobile shower, refreshed and smiling, was a moment that will stick with me forever. This is why the holidays mean so much to me. Family, festivities, and closing out the year with gratitude. But here’s the hard truth: 👉 Families working nonstop just to keep the lights on. 👉 Parents choosing food and shelter over presents for their children. 👉 Countless people with no family—or even basic necessities—to turn to. At Clean the World Global, we’re making sure moments of hope happen every day. 🧼 The WASH Foundation has distributed over 87 million bars of soap to people in need. 🧼 Together with hotels, Clean the World has recycled over 18.6 million pounds of soap. 🧼 Organizations of all sizes have rallied their employees to build over 6 million hygiene kits through CTW Events. While many of us are gathering around holiday tables and cozying up with loved ones, let’s remember this: The holidays aren’t just about what we have—they’re about how we share it. 🥙 🤼 Making a Difference with Everybody Eats! Something close to my heart is giving back & when I find opportunities to do so with the added benefit of a greener outcome, I am keen to get involved. This week our Custom Crew at Custom Fleet had the privilege of volunteering with Everybody Eats, a pay-as-you-feel dining concept for everyone. We worked both in the front and back of house service teams supporting the evenings food service. We left feeling inspired by their mission of 'Feeding Bellies not Bins' and all in all couldn't have gotten more out of the experience, to the customers, fellow volunteers and Everybody Eats team - thanks! If you’re looking for ways to get involved or support a great cause, I highly recommend checking out Everybody Eats and seeing how you can contribute to their mission. Everybody Eats is focused on tackling three main problems: 1- Too much food - Humans waste around one-third of the food we produce. 1.3 Billion tonnes of perfectly good food, worth over One Trillion dollars. 2 - Not enough food - At the same time over one billion people are going hungry. Recent studies show that in New Zealand 1 in 6 people don't have enough to eat. 3 - Disconnected - Communities are increasingly fragmented. We don't know our neighbours anymore. Brijlall ( WSIB ) ANTISEMITISM, HATRED, AND RASESS; After a workplace accident, WSIB put me through hell and made my injuries twice as worse permanently then robbed me of my benefits just because of the colour of my skin. Sandra Di Carlo the case manager took me out from physio therapy that was helping me with my recovery and sent me to wsib Doctor and physio therapy that made my injuries twice as worse permanently. Deb Remekie, The lady at WSIB that robbed me of my benefit, she said that I can sell jewelry, she thinks because I am black I can steal jewelry and sell, so she decided to rob me of my benefit. And it's not a joke she said it verbally and in writing. And believed it or not the APPEALS TRIBUNAL agreed with her without a doubt or any question Atal. The Tribunal did not look at my file, apparently they don't even care to look at my file. As a result, the Minister and ministry staff cannot comment on or get involved in individual case NOT EVEN THE FAIR PRACTICE COMMISSIONER WILL INTERVENE.
