Ditch the wait, or the hassle to fill in the “Get in touch” form – and try our services calculator! At Baba Yaga, our objective is to make business consulting easy for you. We want to be your chosen ally on your sustainability journey, and that starts with making your time spent worthwhile even before working with us. For boutique consultancy firms, the turnaround time for a service quotation normally is between 2-3 working days. That’s 48-72h. We understand that SMEs don’t have the time to shop around waiting for quotations. If you are interested in any of our services, feel free to play around with the quotation tool and get an idea of the cost without having to wait. That’s at least 72h waiting time saved compared to average consultancy quotations. We won’t pester you with auto sign-ups to marketing emails or newsletters, so you don’t need to unsubscribe to anything afterwards. After 2 minutes saved! With 72h and 2 minutes saved, you can have more time to manage your business sustainably 😊 Problem solved! *Please note that this is still a beta version of the calculator, over 80% of our service options are already available in three currencies. Why should SMEs bother with creating and using sustainability information? SMEs are a vital component of the value chains of all organisations. The demands for sustainability-related information may come from stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, finance providers and investors, in the form of procurement and service-level agreements, besides reporting in annual reports. This message rings true at the recently concluded MIA International Accountants Conference 2024 – that’s for another post. Understandably, SMEs may consider the demands to be sustainable and to provide sustainability-related information burdensome especially at times of significant financial pressure. For some SMEs, this requires a shift in behaviours and mindset as well as changing the ways of working to embed a sustainability-led culture. SMEs will need to implement changes to their operations, reporting processes, and leverage people and technology to enable more effective governance and decision-making. SMEs doing this may gain competitive advantage that go beyond monetary benefits. 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 – 𝐒𝐌𝐄 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞, a new guide from ACCA outlines the business case for SMEs to create, communicate, and use sustainability-related information. The sustainability reporting cycle describes eight stages for SMEs to do this through enhancing the processes to create information, using technology and collaborating with others. The eight-stage cycle was originally created for organisations of all sizes in 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 – 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 and now complemented with examples and approaches commonly used by SMEs. Read the SME Guide here: https://lnkd.in/g_hSP3uD Lastly, take small first steps and do what’s possible with a view of becoming better business. #AccountingForABetterWorld #sustainabilityreporting

What most Market Entry Consultants will not tell you in the GCC region: 1- Cost of doing business can be higher then what you thought at start (when venturing out) 2- Remain well funded. Have one year’s working capital before venturing out 3- While drafting contracts with clients – take it very seriously. All possible clauses and scenarios need to be added 4- Some RFPs will ask you to get professional indemnity cover, public liability cover, etc. Instead of taking an annual subscription there are options to buy them specific to a project or engagement 5- Make some trusted relationships with auditors, lawyers, corporate finance professional et. al. who can give you the right direction and advice (sometimes much needed) 6- Focus on building your company’s brand. Don’t undermine the power of marketing and SEO. Your category (product or service) of business will be a highly cluttered space. 7- Spend time to build your network and trusted client relationships 8- Focus on building a niche / micro specialization 9- Submit more proposals / tenders to increase your success / conversion rate 10- Play within the rules of the game, some deviations are allowed :-) 11- Sometimes big announcements around you may mean nothing or may have a big impact on your business - positive or negative. Be smart to read them. Glasgow Research & Consulting

🌏A Glance into Future of Consulting Industry: A Forward-Looking Perspective As we navigate through the complexities of the 21st century, the consulting industry, like many other sectors, is on the verge of a transformative change. According to Statista, the global consulting market was worth approximately $160 billion in 2019, with a projected growth rate of 4.1% annually through to 2025. However, this growth is not distributed evenly across all consulting sectors. The highest growth rates are being seen in areas such as digital consulting, sustainability consulting, and healthcare consulting. 📍Digital Transformation Digital consulting is expected to be a major driver of growth in the coming years. As businesses across sectors continue to embrace digital transformation, the demand for consultants with expertise in areas like big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity is on the rise. 📍Sustainability and Climate Change Sustainability consulting is another area that is predicted to see substantial growth. According to a report by Environmental Business International, the global environmental consulting market is expected to reach $36.1 billion by 2026. As more companies look to reduce their environmental footprint and align their business practices with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, the need for consultants who can guide this transition is likely to increase. 📍Healthcare Consulting The healthcare sector, one of the largest and fastest-growing industries globally, is also driving growth in the consulting industry. With the ongoing pandemic emphasizing the need for efficient and effective healthcare systems, consultancy in this sector is expected to grow. Grand View Research predicts that the global healthcare consulting market will reach $35.88 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 10.4% from 2021 to 2028. The traditional consulting model is being disrupted by several factors: 1. The Rise of In-house Consultancy More and more businesses are building their in-house consultancy teams, which may reduce the need for external consultants. 2. Increasing Competition The consulting industry is seeing increased competition not only from traditional competitors but also from tech companies that have started offering consulting services. 3. Changing Client Expectations Clients now expect consultants to deliver more value, faster results, and greater transparency. This is pushing consulting firms to rethink their business models and the way they deliver their services. "In the realm of consulting, we are not just shaping businesses, but sculpting the future." - SK. #ConsultingIndustry #FutureOutlook #DigitalTransformation #SustainabilityConsulting #HealthcareConsulting #InHouseConsultancy #MarketCompetition #ClientExpectations #BusinessTrends #IndustryInsights #staciakurianova
