What's your advice for those entering today's job market? My niche advice to those of you that are just graduating from high school is only for a few. If you like working with your hands and you are good at math, consider union carpentry. The apprenticeship programs that carpenter unions have are tremendously successful. You learn from some of the best Master Carpenters in the industry. This advice applies to both girls and boys. I wouldn't stop with just the carpenters' apprenticeship. I would enroll in some online classes and see if you can hack it. The experience in the field and the online classes should set you on your way to accomplish anything.
